2024-25 (Redshirt Freshman): Finished the year with a 9-11 record at 165 pounds… Went 5-1 at the Western Colorado Open to finish third at that tournament… Had four wins by fall.

2023-24 (Freshman): Redshirt season… Compiled a 12-6 record as an unattached wrestler at four open tournaments… Wrestled in the 157-pound bracket at each… Won the Mines Rookie Open with five wins at the start of the season before placing fourth at the Western Colorado Open in January.

Prep: 2023 graduate of Berthoud High School… Was a 3-ime regional champion for coach Josh Galindo and the Spartans… Finished third at the state tournament three times while taking fourth once.

Personal: Is majoring in construction management… Wants to become a superintendent of a large scale construction company… Son of Gary and Karen Moneypenny… Has three older siblings— Kimberly, Abi and Devin…. Enjoys riding dirt bikes, fishing and going camping.

Why I Chose CMU: “I heard they had a good construction management program and I also got the chance to wrestle in college and earn a degree.
