2018-19: Finished the season with a 9-17 record...Placed fourth at the Menlo Open with a win over the sixth-ranked wrestler in NAIA during the tournament.

2017-18: Finished the season with a 2-20 record...Earned wins over Lucas Romero of New Mexico Highlands (TF 18-3) and Mario Barrios of Cal Baptist (7-1).

High School: Wrestled for the Mustangs of Mountain Range High School and coach Todd Sandman...Two-time state qualifier.

Personal: Son of Wayne and Brenda Romero...Has four siblings...Chose CMU for the coaching staff.
