Biography

2021-22: Finished his freshman season with an 8-10 record in four open tournaments...Placed sixth at the Mines Rookie Open...First collegiate win came against Dany Tanefeu of Air Force (Fall, 4:41).

HIGH SCHOOL: Wrestled for the Rebels of Weld Central and coach Elliot Copeland...Two-time state runner-up and three-time state placer.

PERSONAL: Son of Curtis and Leslie Baumgartner...Has three siblings, Tanner, Taya, and Sydney...Tanner is also on the wrestling team and Taya is the Director of Operations for the wrestling program at Colorado Mesa...Chose CMU for the wrestling program...Enjoys fishing and farming.
