Biography

2021-22: NCAA All-American at 157 pounds after finishing in third place at the NCAA National Championships...Was the Gorriarian Award WInner at the NCAA National Championships after finishing the tournament with the most falls in the least amount of time...All-RMAC Second Team...Finished the season with a 23-7 overall record...Handed NCAA National Champion Josiah Rider his only two losses of the season. 
2020-21: Helped the Mavericks win the RMAC Championship as he competed in the NCAA Super Region VI tournament at 149 pounds...Finished his first collegiate season with a 2-5 record...Lone contested win came against Colorado School of Mines' Daniel Caddy at 157 pounds, a pin at 1:14...Dropped both matches of the Regional Tournament.

HIGH SCHOOL: Wrestled for the Vikings of Curtis High School and coach Shawn Gaspaire...Two-time Washington State Champ.

PERSONAL: Majoring in Business...Son of Bill and Sally Wheeler...Has three siblings Adrian, Mias, and Patrick...Adrian is on the wrestling team at Hofstra and Mias is on the wrestling team at Highline College...Enjoys rock climbing, snowboarding, and water skiing.
