Biography

2017-18: NCAA National Qualifier at 165 pounds and went 0-2 in the Championships...RMAC All-Academic First Team...Finished the season with a 14-6 record with one fall...Placed fourth at the NCAA West Regional where he upset No. 1 ranked JaCobi Jones of CSU-Pueblo to claim a spot on the podium...Placed third at the RMAC Championships...Placed sixth at the UNK Holiday Inn Open.

2016-17: NCAA National Qualifier at 165 pounds where he went 1-2...NWCA All-Academic First Team...RMAC All-Academic Team...Finished season with a 32-12 record...Won the UNK Holiday Inn Open. 

2015-16: RMAC Freshman of the Year...NWCA All-Academic Second Team...RMAC All-Academic First Team...RMAC Championships runner-up...Finished season with a 30-10 overall record...Placed in the top five at four of the five opens he competed in.

2014-15: Redshirt...Finished with an 11-8 record and placed third at the Northern Colorado Open.

High School: Wrestled for the Falcons of Centauri High School and coach Randy Keys...Two-time state champion...Three-time state finalist...3A Most Outstanding Wrestler.

Personal: Majoring in Exercise Science...Son of Tracey and Darrell Buhr...Chose CMU for the campus and wrestling program...Enjoys hunting and playing other sports.
