2020-21: NCAA All-American at 197 pounds after placing fifth...Helped the Mavericks win the RMAC Championship by winning the 197 pound weight class at the NCAA Super Region VI Tournament...RMAC Summit Award Winner...CoSIDA Academic All-District...Finished the season with a 12-3 record...Lost his first match of the season to Joseph Reimers of UNK 15-13 but avenged that loss in the Regional Final with a 5-3 win...Went 4-2 at the NCAA Championship Tournament...Losses came to No. 3 Dalton Abney of Central Oklahoma and No. 7 Zach Ryg of Upper Iowa.

2019-20: NCAA National Qualifier at 197 pounds after placing second at the NCAA Super Region VI Tournament...NWCA Scholar All-American...RMAC All-Academic First Team...Finished the season with a 15-7 mark...Placed second in the UNK Younes Hospitality Open...Defeated 10th ranked Wade French in the dual with Chadron State early in the season...Spent time in and out of the NWCA Rankings all season.

2018-19: RMAC Academic Honor Roll...Finished the season with a 4-4 record...Earned wins in his two dual meets, one by tech fall and the other by pin...Competed in the Cowboy Open and UNK Holiday Inn Open.

2017-18: RMAC Academic Honor Roll...Finished the season with a 13-12 record...Won the Western Colorado Open and placed third at the Colorado Mesa Open...Wrestled in three duals and came away with a 1-2 record.

2016-17: Finished his redshirt season with a 6-8 record...Went 2-2 at both the Cowboy Open and UNK Loper Open.

High School: Wrestled for the Huskies of Douglas County High School and coach Gary Hartman...Three-time Continental League selection...State Runner-up.

Personal: Majoring in Exercise Science...Son of Jonna and Fred Pemberton...Has one sibling...Chose CMU for the wrestling program and the location...Enjoys hunting and fishing.
