2021-22: NCAA All-American at 125 pounds after placing fifth at the National Championships...RMAC Freshman of the Year...All-RMAC First Team...RMAC Wrestler of the Week (Feb. 8)...Had a 26-5 overall record...Runner-up finish at the prestigious Midwest Classic and avenged his loss in the championship by defeating McKendree's Christian Mejia at the NCAA National Championships...Placed third at the Younes Hospitality UNK Open.

FRESHMAN/COVID YEAR ~ (2020-21): 3-4 overall record (0-0 in duals) at 125 pounds ... went 2-4 against Big 12 opponents ... posted a 2-1 outing at the SDSU Tri-Meet on Feb. 13 in Brookings, S.D. with wins over South Dakota State's Tanner Jordan (6-4) and Ethan Bowman (6-2) ... also picked up a win by major decision in his first collegiate match against Anthony Molton of Cal Poly by a score of 12-3 at the Cal Poly Round Robin in Jan. 3 ... won one bout by major decision and two by decision. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Grand Junction High School in Grand Junction, Colo. ... a two-time Colorado State Champion and a three-time state finalist ... also placed third at the 2019 state championships ... also a four-time Warrior Champion and a four-time Region Champion ... helped Grand Junction win a State title, a runner-up finish and a third-place finish at the state championships ... coached by Cole Allison at GJHS ... wrestled club for both the Colorado Outlaws and Purebred Elite ... also played golf in high school.

PERSONAL: Parents are Paul and Karis Turner...Has two siblings; Avery Turner and Zach Turner...Enjoys hunting, fishing and helping coach for both the Colorado Outlaws and Purebred Elite.
