2024-25 (Redshirt Sophomore): Posted a 1-5 record while competing in two open tournaments as well as on the Mavs’ “B” team in a Jan. 11 dual against Western Colorado at the Tracy Borah Duals… Wrestled at 141 pounds… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll for the second straight year.

2023-24 (Redshirt Freshman): Finished 1-8 in four tournaments… Took fourth at the Utah Tech Stampede Invitational in the 149-pound bracket… Wrestled at 141 pounds in the other… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.

2022-23 (Freshman): Redshirt season… Wrestled unattached at four open tournaments, going 0-8… Wrestled at 133 pounds in the first three before going at 141 at the Rocky Mountain Collegiate Open.

Prep: Wrestled for Rusty Marchello at Benson Polytechnic.

Personal: Son of Craig and Lisa Yanase...Has one sibling, Lauren...Chose CMU for the athletic and academic opportunities.
