Biography
Prep: 2024 graduate of Southern Boone High School… Won the 2024 state title at 120 pounds as a senior with the Lee Bradley coached Eagles… Had also won the 115-pound state crown as a junior in 2023 after placing third in that weight class in 2022.
Personal: Is majoring in exercise science… Plans to earn her bachelor’s degree and then attend PT school to become a pediatric physical therapist… Daughter of Alicia and Cory Bergthold.
Why I Chose CMU: “I chose because I felt like it was a place where I could grow and be successful as a person and an athlete. Not only did the women’s wrestling team’s goals align with my own, but the exercise science program and human performance lab stood out to me and I really felt like I would be getting the best opportunities here.”
