2025-26: Posted an 8-7 record while wrestling at 103 pounds… Won five matches by technical fall and one other by pin… Finished third at the York Open and fourth at the Eagle Women’s Open… Earned NWCA Scholar All-America honors… Was named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll… Helped the Mavs win the RMAC Brechler Award for having the highest team GPA in the conference.

2024-25: Went 2-5 while competing unattached... Competed in two events... Placed sixth at the Chadron State Open

Prep: 2024 graduate of Klein High School… Graduated with a 4.2 GPA… Was an all-American… Placed fourth at the UIL State Championships.. Earned the Bearkats’ Most Improved and Senior of the Year Awards.. Coached by Joaquin Bautista… Was a member of the Spanish and National Honor Societies… Was a National Society of High School Scholar selection… Earned Microsoft Word & Excel Expert certifications.

Personal: Is majoring in finance… Plans to work in the stock market and investing... Daughter of Nalleli Espinoza and Fernando Perez… Has three siblings— Armando, Emilia and Michael… Aspires to be able to give back and make her family proud, something that always makes her happy… Enjoys wrestling, sewing/knitting, coloring, playing board games, shopping, working out and watching movies and shows.

Why I Chose CMU: “The CMU women’s wrestling team always caught my attention so being able to receive a message from them was such a blessing. I visited other campuses before but when I visited CMU I knew it was the place to be.”
