2024-25 Indoor (Sophomore): Competed in seven meets, including the RMAC Championships, in three different disciplines… Contested both the 60-meter hurdles and 400 meters at the conference meet… Placed 12
th in the hurdles with a time of 9.24, just off her season-best of 9.23 set a week earlier at the RMAC Last Chance Qualifier, finishing in third place for the last of four top-3 finishes… Finished 15
th in the 400 at the conference meet… Had turned in a career-best time of 59.84 at the Ichabod Invitational… Ran to a 200-meter season-best of 26.53 seconds at the Colorado Invitational… Won the 60 hurdles at the season-opening Mountaineer Open in 9.24 seconds… Went on to finish second in both ASU Qualifiers after the season resumed in January… Was ranked amongst the conference’s top 25 performers in all three disciplines, ranking 14
th in the hurdles, 22
nd in the 200 and 25
th in the 400.
2024 Outdoor (Freshman): Hurdled in three meets, including her first RMAC Championships… Had season-best times of 16.01 (100) and 1:06.96 (400) in the hurdling events at the conference meet, placing 15
th in the 400 and 16
th in the 100-meter distance, respectively.
2023-24 Indoor (Freshman): Competed in four meets… Had season-best times of 8.11 (60) and 26.38 (200) in the sprinting events at the Western Colorado Open… Had a season-best time of 9.35 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles at the Big Red Machine Open.
Prep: 2023 graduate of Mesa Ridge High School, where she helped the James Derubis coached Grizzlies to state titles in the 4x100 and 4x200-meter relays… Took third in the 300-meter hurdles and fifth in the 100-meter hurdles during her 2023 senior campaign… Set a PR and school-record time of 45.05 seconds two weeks before her senior state meet… Also qualified for the state meet in the 300 hurdles as a sophomore and junior, placing 12
th and 13
th, respectively… Had a wind-aided 100-meter PR of 15.55 earlier in her senior season… Finished her career as a 3-time state champion and 3-time district champion… Also set school records in five total events, including the 4x100, 4x200, 4x400 and sprint medley relays.
Personal: Is majoring in psychology… Daughter of Richaun and Maria Facey and is a first generation student… Has a brother, Richaun, Jr… Enjoys drawing and painting.
