2025 Outdoor (Redshirt Senior): Sprinted in four meets, including the RMAC Championships… Set a season-best time of 25.90 seconds in the 200 at the Maverick Invitational before matching that time to place 21
st at the conference meet… Set a career-best time of 12.64 in the 100 at the Maverick Invitational as well… Also ran on 4x400-meter relay team at that meet, helping the “B” squad to a time of 3:57.21.
2024-25 Indoor (Redshirt Senior): Ran in six meets, including the RMAC Championships… Ran the 200 meters in five of them… Placed 16
th at the conference meet in 26.96 seconds after qualifying thanks to a season-best time of 26.09 at the RMAC Last Chance Qualifier… Also had a season-best time of 8.11 in the 60 at that meet… Ran the 400 meters on one occasions, finishing in 1:05.28 at the ASU Qualifier #2.
2024 Outdoor (Senior @ CMU): Redshirt season… Competed unattached in CMU’s two home meets… Posted times of 12.73 (100) and 26.04 (200) at the Maverick Invite #2.
2023-24 Indoor (Redshirt Junior @ CMU): Sprinted in two meets… Had season-best times of 8.26 (60) and 26.89 (200) at the Western Colorado Open.
2023 Outdoor (Junior @ Wyoming): Competed in five meets, running the 200 meters in each… Led the Cowgirls with a season-best time of 25.53 to finish second at the Tom Benich Invite… Ran the 100 meters twice, placing seventh both times… Had a season-best time of 12.65 at the Jack Christiansen Invite.
2022-23 Indoor (Redshirt Sophomore @ Wyoming): Ran at five meets… Placed 30
th in the 200 at the Mountain West Conference Championships… Had a season-best time of 25.64 to do so…. Had other times of 7.63 (55) and 1:03.86 (400) throughout the season.
2022 Outdoor (Sophomore @ Wyoming): Competed in six meets, including the Mountain West Conference Championships… Finished 21
st in the 200 with a time of 25.83 seconds… Had won the event with a career-best time of 25.38 at the Air Force Front Range Open (Apr. 2)… Had a season-best time of 59.89 in the 400 at the Jerry Quiller Classic… Had five top-5 finishes throughout the season.
2021-22 Indoor (Redshirt Freshman @ Wyoming): Ran in four meets, competing on relays at the Mountain West Conference Championships… Helped the Cowgirls to eighth (DMR) and ninth place (4x400) finishes… Won the 200 and the mile relay at the Invitational at the Peak… Also had a season-best 400-meter time of 59.66 to finish fifth at that meet, hosted by Air Force… Set a season-best 200 time of 26.21 to finish third at the Prairie Wolf Invitational… Was also third in the 400 at that meet… Ran to a time of 7.54 seconds in her season debut at the team’s home Power Meet to open the season.
2021 Outdoor (As a Freshman @ Wyoming): Ran in four meets… Set career-best times of 12.60 (100) and 59.41 (400) during the year… Had a wind-aided 100m best of 12.53 at the UNLV Spring Invitational.
2020-21 Indoor (As a Freshman @ Wyoming): Ran in three meets during the COVID-effected season… Had a career-best 55-meter time of 7.51 at the Power Meet… Had a season-best of 1:00.20 in the 400 at the Championships at the Peak… Finished third in the 400 at the Power Meet… Helped the Cowgirls place fourth in the mile relay at the Air Force Invitational.
Prep: 2020 graduate of Northfield High School… Finished sixth in the 200 meters at the 2019 4A Colorado State Championships, which would prove to be her final high school meet after her senior season was wiped out by COVID… Also helped her team finish second in the sprint medley relay and fifth in the 4x100-meter relay…. Helped the Nighthawks earn 17 of the school’s 39 team points at the state meet… Had finished 13
th in the 200 at the state championships as a freshman.
Personal: Is majoring in early childhood and special education… Wants to become a Pre-K teacher and to inspire and set an example for children and to be someone they always remember…. Daughter of Steffany Gonzalez-Gibbs and Sygnman Gibbs… Has one sister— Annalise.
Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because of how beautiful it was out here. I was really convinced when talking to the coach and trust them in my my last year of track."
