2026 Outdoor (Sophomore): Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll… Competed in seven meets, including the RMAC Championships… Earned a pair of All-RMAC honors, earning first team accolades and a bronze medal in the javelin throw thanks to a heave of 41.52 meters (136-3) in an event that she just added to her Maverick repertoire for that season… Went on to post a season-best of 42.00 meters (137-9) at the APU Franson Last Chance Meet… Ranks second in CMU history with that effort, which put her fifth on the RMAC season-long performance list… Claimed Second Team All-RMAC honors in the triple jump with a fifth place finish at the conference championships… Recorded a season-best of 11.66 meters (38-3.25) to do so… Ranks sixth in CMU outdoor history with that distance, which also put her fifth on the RMAC season-long list.
2025-26 Indoor (Sophomore): Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll… Was also named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team… Competed in six meets… Earned Second Team All-RMAC honors after placing fifth in the triple jump at the RMAC Championships with a throw of 11.47 meters (37-7.5)… Recorded two wins and two other second place finishes in her four earlier attempts at that discipline… Set a NCAA provisional qualifying mark of 11.86 meters (38-11) to win at the season-opening Mountaineer Open & Multi… Ranked fourth on the RMAC’s season-long performance list and ended up 36
th on the national qualification list… Also moved to the No. 5 spot of program history with that mark… Also won at the Big Red Machine Open with a mark of 11.85 meters (38-10.5)… Had a season-best long jump effort of 5.29 meters (17-4.25) at the Big Red Machine Open.
2025 Outdoor (Freshman): Competed in five meets, including the RMAC Championships… Contested the triple jump at all five and the long jump in three… Qualified for the RMAC meet in both disciplines… Placed ninth in the triple jump with a wind-legal season-best of 11.27 meters (36-11.75)… Finished 16
th with a season-best long jump of 5.07 meters (16-7.75)… Set a wind-aided season-best triple jump mark of 11.33 meters (37-2.25) at the Dr. Dan Caprioglio Early Bird to open the season… Was ranked ninth on the RMAC’s season-long performance list with that effort.
2024-25 Indoor (Freshman): Jumped in seven meets, including the RMAC Championships… Qualified for the RMAC meet in both the long and triple jump events… Scored two team points at the conference meet in the triple jump thanks to a seventh place mark of 11.29 meters (37-0.5)… Had a slightly better season-best of 11.32 meters (37-1.75) in the season-opening Mountaineer Open… Was also ranked tenth on the season-long performance list with that mark… Won the triple jump at the ASU Qualifier #2 while placing second in two other meets… Won the long jump at the Mountaineer Open with a season-best of 5.30 meters (17-4.75).
Prep: 2024 graduate of Pomona High School… Was a 5-sport varsity letterwinner for the Panthers… Won the long jump at the 2024 Jeffco League Championships with a wind-aided PR of 17-11… Also took second in the triple jump… Set a PR of 35-9 earlier in the season in that discipline… Qualified for state in both events… Named as Pomona’s Female Athlete of the Year in 2024.
Personal: Is majoring in biology… Plans to pursue a career in marine biology after her time at CMU… Daughter of Ed and DeeAnn Ritzmann… Has one older brother Brady, who plays baseball at Colorado Christian.
Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because of how welcome I felt here. I knew that this was the place that I wanted to be. I heard some great things about CMU from friends and I had to check it out for myself.”
