2022-23 (Redshirt Freshman): Did not compete in any meets.

2022 Outdoor (Freshman): Redshirt season… Competed unattached in two home meets… Posted a 1,500-meter time of 5:12.97 at the Maverick Invite #2… Finished that event in 5:29.48 at the Maverick Top Gun Last Chance Meet.

2021-22 Indoor (Freshman): Redshirt season… Competed unattached in two meets hosted by Western Colorado University… Posted times of 5:41.83 (mile) and 12:05.82 (3K).

Prep: 2021 graduate of Austin High School… Served as the team captain for the Maroons’ cross country and long distance track teams… Set PRs of 20:05 (5K XC), 5:25 (1600) and 11:55 (3200)… Finished third in the 1600 at the UIL 6A-District 26 Championships as a senior in the spring of 2021… Had placed eighth in the district cross country meet in the fall of 2020 with her PR.

Personal: Is majoring in environmental science… Hopes to pursue a master’s degree and eventually work at a national park… Daughter of Kim and Michael Heide… Older sister Mia plays basketball at Tulane University in New Orleans…  Enjoys making art and reading a lot.
