2025 Outdoor (Senior): Named to the RMAC Academic Honor Roll… Competed in the long and high jump events at five meets, including the RMAC Championships… Was ranked in the RMAC’s top eight in both… Scored two team points with a seventh place finish in the high jump after clearing 1.59 meters (5-2.5)… Finished 14
th in the long jump with a mark of 5.17 meters (16-11.5)… Set a season-best high jump mark of 1.62 meters (5-3.75) at the Maverick Invitational before matching that mark to win at the Jo Meaker Classic & Multi… Also had a season-best long jump mark of 5.56 meters (18-3) at the Jo Meaker meet in Canyon, Texas… Was sixth on the RMAC season-long performance list in the high jump… Was ranked eighth in the long jump… Had three top-5 finishes in the high jump throughout the season.
2024-25 Indoor (Senior): Earned a spot on the RMAC Academic Honor Roll… Competed in six meets, including the RMAC Championships… Claimed a pair of Second Team All-RMAC honors, placing fifth in the pentathlon and sixth in the high jump at the conference meet… Scored 3,232 points to take third in the pentathlon at the Mines Alumni Classic to rank fourth on the RMAC’s season-long performance list… Scored 3,184 points at the conference championships… Cleared a season-best 1.65 meters (5-5) in the high jump at the aforementioned Mines meet… Was ranked third in the RMAC for that discipline… Cleared 1.59 meters (5-2.5) in the main event after getting over 1.58 meters (5-2.25) during the pentathlon at the RMAC Championships… Also had season-best marks of 5.34 meters (17-6.25) and 9.43 seconds in the long jump and 60-meter hurdles during the Mines Winter Classic… Set season-best marks of 2:33.45 and 8.48 meters (27-10) in the 800 meters and shot put during the RMAC Championship pentathlon.
2024 Outdoor (Junior): Competed in six meets, including the RMAC Championships… Earned a pair of all-conference honors, claiming first team plaudits and a bronze medal in the high jump… Also earned second team honors in the pentathlon after placing fifth with a career-best score of 4,264 points… Also competed in the long jump, placing ninth… Was a NCAA provisional qualifier in the high jump after setting a season-best of 1.67 meters (5-5.75) at the Maverick Invite & Multi… Was ranked third on the RMAC season-long performance list with that effort, which was good for 47
th on the national list… Is also tied for third in CMU outdoor history with that mark… Finished fifth on the RMAC list in the heptathlon with her career-best effort of 4,264 points, which puts her seventh in CMU history… Set new career-best times of 15.27 (100 Hurdles), 26.99 (200) and 2:25.63 (800) in all three running events during the RMAC meet… Was ranked sixth in the conference in the long jump with her wind-aided mark of 5.80 meters at the Maverick Invite #2… Also had a wind-legal effort of 5.68 meters (18-7.75) during the same series to rank seventh in school history… Had a career-best shot put effort of 8.74 meters (28-8.25) and a season-best javelin throw of 15.90 meters (52-2) during the Maverick Invite & Multi heptathlon... Named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team for the second straight year... Also selected to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll for the fourth straight season.
2023-24 Indoor (Junior): Competed in five meets, including the RMAC Championships… Placed second in the high jump and seventh in the pentathlon at the conference meet earning First Team All-RMAC honors in the former… Cleared a career-best 1.70 meters (5-7) to do so moving into the No. 2 position of CMU history behind teammate Josie Coffey… Was a NCAA provisional qualifier in both events… Finished fourth on the RMAC’s season-long performance list in the high jump… Was ranked 24
th nationally… Was ranked eighth in the pentathlon with a converted season best of 3,285 points at the Colorado Running Company Pre-Holiday Invite & Multi… Had an actual career-best score of 3,263 points there… Now ranks sixth in CMU history… Scored 3,222 points at the RMAC Championships… Had other season-bests of 9.38 seconds (60m Hurdles), 2:28.23 (800m), 5.19m (LJ) and 7.78 (SP)... Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
2023 Outdoor (Sophomore): Contested the high jump at two meets… Cleared a season-best 1.60 meters (5-3) at the Maverick Invite before placing ninth with a mark of 1.56 meters (5-1.25) at the RMAC Championships… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
2022-23 Indoor (Sophomore): Competed in six meets, including the RMAC Championships… Contested both the pentathlon and the high jump at the conference meet, placing eighth and 15
th, respectively… Had set NCAA Division II Championship provisional qualifying marks in both of those events at the season-opening Mountaineer Open & Multi… Scored 3,229 points in the pentathlon… Was ranked seventh in the conference and 49th nationally with the altitude and track-size converted mark of 3,251… Set personal-bests in three of the five disciplines during that overall effort, including a high jump clearance of 1.69 meters (5-6.5)… Was ranked fourth (tie) in the conference and 20th nationally with that mark… Also had a 60-meter hurdle time of 9.45 and an 800-meter time of 2:34.34… Had season-best marks of 5.04 meters (16-6.5) and 7.90 meters (25-11) in the long jump and shot put, respectively, during the RMAC Championship pentathlon… The long jump effort was also a season-best… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll... Went on to be named to the USTFCCCA's All-Academic Team.
2022 Outdoor (Freshman): Competed in four meets, including the RMAC Championships… Competed in and set season-bests in both the heptathlon and the high jump at the conference meet, finishing seventh and 11
th in those events, respectively… Scored 3,581 points in the heptathlon while clearing 1.61 meters (5-3.25) in the high jump… Also finished the year ranked seventh on the RMAC’s season-long performance list in the heptathlon and tied for tenth in the high jump… Set another season-best time of 2:35.47 in the 800 meters to cap her overall heptathlon… Had run an all-conditions fastest times of 28.51 and 16.25 in the 200 meters and 100-meter hurdles as well… Also set a season-best shot put mark of 8.35 meters (27-4.75) at the RMAC meet after turning in a best of 19.38 meters (63-7) in the javelin at the Bryan Clay Invitational, her first heptathlon effort… Set a wind-aided season-best of 5.05 meters (16-7) in the long jump at the Maverick Invite #1 and a wind-legal best of 4.91 meters (16-1.5) at the RMAC Championships.
2021-22 Indoor (Freshman): Competed in six meets, including the RMAC Championships… Contested the pentathlon at three of them… Set a season-best score of 2,808 points to finish fifth in the pentathlon at the conference meet… Earned second team all-conference honors with the effort… Set two other individual season-bests during the conference meet, running to a time of 2:42.14 in the 800 meters after posting a clearance of 1.57 meters (5-1.75) in the high jump… Posted a season-best time of 9.74 seconds in the 60 meter hurdles at the Mines Winter Classic… Had a season-best long jump mark of 5.00 meters (16-5) at the Western Colorado Open and a shot put best of 7.26 meters (23-10) at the Mountaineer Open & Multi.
Prep: Named as the Female Athlete of the Year and Highest Scoring Female Athlete for the Galena High School Grizzlies… Coached by Wendy Sullivan… 2021 graduate of the school… Won the high jump while placing second in the long jump at the Northern Nevada 5A Region Championships… Set PR’s of 16.24 (100 Hurdles), 5-3 (High Jump) and 16-1.25 (Long Jump) during her senior year.
Personal: Is majoring in kinesiology… Aspires to become a physical therapist… Daughter of Kelly and Dan Matteson… Has an older brother named Cole… Enjoys skiing, biking, climbing and golfing.
Why I Chose CMU: “I love Colorado because I like to ski and bike, the campus is beautiful, and I saw myself being a part of the track team.”
