Biography
2024-25 (Freshman): Redshirted during both the indoor and outdoor seasons.
Prep: 2024 graduate of Sanford High School… Was named as the 1A State Female Athlete of the Year after winning four events at the state championships… Won the 100 Hurdles (16.30), 300 Hurdles (47.24) with PR times while also taking the triple jump with a mark of 33-2.25… Also helped the Blake Canty coached Mustangs to win the 800 sprint medley relay… Was also named as the Southern Peaks League Athlete of the Year in both 2023 and 2024, sharing the honors as a senior.
Personal: Is majoring in surgical technology… Is planning to gain a certificate in that field and then go on to earning a surgical first assistant certificate a few years later… Daughter of Jeramy and Cynthia McDaniel… Has four siblings— Paige, Casey, Brenna and Kate… Casey was a former Maverick track & field athlete… Likes to read, fish, go to the lake and mountains and spend time with friends and family.
Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU for several reasons. First, I love Grand Junction and the area that surrounds it. Second, I've loved the campus since the first time I saw it. I also love that it's not too far away from home, but I can still take a quick trip home for a weekend.”
