Career Honors

• 2x RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll

2021 Outdoor (Redshirt Freshman): Ran the 800 meters at all three home meets posting a season-best time of 2:33.11 at the Maverick Sun Classic… Also competed in the 4x400 relay at the Maverick Open, helping CMU’s “B” team finish in 4:21.68… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
 
2021 Indoor (Sophomore): Redshirt season… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.

2020 Outdoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2019-20 Indoor (Freshman): Competed in two meets, both in Gunnison… Ran the 400 at the Western Colorado Open on Dec. 7 to begin the season… Finished seventh in 1:03.85… Ran the 800 at the regular-season ending Western Colorado Alumni Open, posting a time of 2:31.84 while finishing third.

Prep: Qualified for the 3A state championships three times (2017-19), including as an individual qualifier in the 400 meters as a senior and sophomore... Finished 14th in 2019 after placing 15th in 2017 for the Delta Panthers... Had a PR of 1:00.50.... Set a 200m PR of 27.35 to take third at the WSL Leagues Meet in 2017... Was also a Daniels Scholar and All-State Choir member in 2019.

Personal: Is majoring in musical education... Daughter of Jason and Jessica Atchley... Has two younger siblings (Breighelle & Breckin)... Loves to go mountain biking, playing board games and watching movies.

Career Aspirations: "As a future music educator, I hope to share my passion for music with my students, while also making a difference in my community through our nations young people. I aspire to begin a music program for special needs students, where there is a serious lack of opportunity for them to experience the arts. In addition, I would love to be a high school coach.

Why I Chose CMU: "CMU is a great school with an incredible program in my area of study. It's also close to home."
