2023 Outdoor (Redshirt Junior): Competed in both hurdling events at each of the team’s first four meets, including the RMAC Championships… Reached the finals in both, placing fourth in the 100-meter hurdles and eighth in the 400-meter hurdles… Earned Second Team All-RMAC honors in the 100-meter hurdle discipline with a fourth place finish and time of 14.83 after running a career-best time of 14.67 in the prelims… Ranks third in CMU history with that time… Also ranked fourth on the RMAC’s season-long performance list with the altitude-adjusted mark of 14.71… Was ranked eighth on the RMAC season-long list in the 400-meter hurdles at 1:05.05 (converted) after winning the event at the CSU Pueblo Open in 1:04.94… Placed second in both events at the Maverick Invite (14.83 & 1:05.29)… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.

2022-23 Indoor (Redshirt Junior): Competed in five meets, running the 60-meter hurdles in each… Earned Second Team All-RMAC honors after placing sixth in that event at the RMAC Championships with a career-best time of 9.08 seconds… Also helped the Mavs score in the 4x400-meter relay as part of a team that ran to a time of 4:02.68… Also ran the 200 meters in 27.54 seconds in her lone attempt at that discipline during the Western Colorado Open… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.

2022 Outdoor (Redshirt Sophomore): Competed in five meets, qualifying for the RMAC Championship finals in both hurdling events… Took seventh in both the 100 and 400-meter hurdles at the conference meet, scoring four total team points… Posted a career-best time of 14.82 in the 100 during the preliminary round before following it up with a 14.86 in the finals… Was ranked eighth on the RMAC’s season-long performers list with the altitude-adjusted time of 14.86… Won the 100 hurdles at the Maverick Invite #2… Set a season-best time of 1:05.39 in the 400-meter hurdles at the Maverick Invite #2, finishing third… Ran to a time of 1:05.78 at the RMAC meet… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.

2021-22 Indoor (Redshirt Sophomore): Competed in five meets, including the RMAC Championships… Ran the 60-meter hurdles, posting a career-best time of 9.12 seconds en-route to victory at the Western Colorado Open…  Stood tenth on the RMAC’s season-long performers list with her altitude-adjusted time of 9.14… Also won the event at the Mountaineer Open & Multi… Went on to place 11th at the RMAC Championships with a time of 9.24 seconds… Also competed in the 200 meters in three meets… Had a season-best time of 27.31 seconds at the Mel Tjeerdsma Classic to begin the campaign… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.

2021 Outdoor (Redshirt Freshman): Competed in five meets, including the RMAC Championships… Earned Second Team All-RMAC plaudits in the 100-meter hurdles after placing fourth with a wind-aided time of 14.65 seconds… Had a wind-legal seasonl-best of 14.90 in the preliminaries… Also placed ninth in the 400-meter hurdles (1:06.17) after posting a personal-best of 1:04.18 in the preliminary round… Ranks third in CMU history with that time… Was fifth on the season-long RMAC performers list with the altitude-adjusted time of 14.69 in the 100 hurdles… Finished tenth on the 400-meter hurdle list with a converted time of 1:04.29…Was also a member of the “B” 4x400-meter relay team that posted a time of 3:52.70, fourth fastest in CMU history, at the Maverick Sun Classic… Ran the 100-meter hurdles at all three of CMU’s home meets and the 400-meter hurdles at two of them… Finished fifth on the RMAC’s season-long performers list in the 100-meter hurdles... Attempted the heptathlon for the first time in her career at the Mines Last Chance Meet… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
 
2021 Indoor (Sophomore): Competed in each of CMU’s three regular season meets, contesting the 60-meter hurdles at each… Had a season-best time of 9.52 seconds at the CRC UCCS Open… Also ran the 400 at the Adams State Grizzly Open with a career-best time of 1:02.81 in the first of two efforts at that discipline… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.

2020 Outdoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2019-20 Indoor (Freshman): Completed in seven meets, contesting the 60-meter hurdles at each… Also ran the 200 meters at four meets while running a leg on CMU’s fifth place 4x400-meter relay team at the RMAC Championships… Also qualified for the RMAC meet in the 60-meter hurdles, finishing 12th in 9.31 seconds… Had run a season-best time of 9.30 seconds a week earlier to finish third at the Western Colorado Alumni Open… Turned in a season-best time of 26.93 in the 200 at the Power 5 on Jan. 25.

Prep: Was a Texas Relays qualifier in the 100-meter hurdles as both a junior (2018) and senior (2019) at Gregory-Portland HS... Set hurdling PRs of 14.64 (100) and 44.90 (300) at the regional meet to finish second and third respectively... Had won UIL 5A-District 29 titles in both as part of a undefeated 100-meter hurdle regular season... Placed seventh at the state meet in the 100... Was a 3-year region qualifier for the Wildcats... Earned all-district honors as a sophomore (2017) and senior (2019) and an all-area performer as a senior... Helped the team Damaris King coached squad finish second at the regional meet... Was a first team all-South selection in the 100-mete hurdles as a senior after picking up second team honors in 2017 and 2018... Was also a 2-time second team academic all-state honoree... Was a member of the National Honor Society as a junior and senior.

Personal: Is majoring in criminal justice... Parents are Michael Griffith and Candy Romans... Stepfather is Paul Romans... Has six siblings (Erika, Luke, Kaylee, Levi, Faith and Megan)... Enjoys reading, watching Netflix, going on walks and hikes and hanging out with friends.

Why I Chose CMU: "I wanted to do something different and go out of my comfort zone. The track team seemed really close-knit and seemed like a good fit. I felt like CMU was where I would be able to best grow not only as an athlete, but as a student and person as well."
