Biography
Before CMU: Attended Colorado State University during the 2025-26 academic year… Recorded a season-best clearance of 1.52 meters (4-11.75) at the UCCS Invite on Jan. 24.
Prep: 2025 graduate of De Beque High School… Was a jumper for the Dragons and coach Melissa Rigsby… Won the 2023 state high jump title as a sophomore with a personal-best of 5-5… Was the state runner-up as a junior before finishing fifth as a senior… Also took sixth in the long jump in 2023… Earned first team all-conference honors in volleyball for three straight years… Was the 1A Player of the Year in 2024… Earned all-state honors… Was also a 2-time first team all-conference basketball player.
Personal: Is majoring in biology… Daughter of Leslie and JJ Weis… Has a brother named Scottie, who won the U20 World Champion… Outside of track, enjoys staying active, spending time with friends and family, being outdoors and trying new things.
Why I Chose CMU: “I chose Colorado Mesa because of the track program, great academics, and the opportunity to be part of a supportive team. I also loved the campus.”
