2021 (Freshman): Redshirted during both the indoor and outdoor seasons.
Prep: Graduated from Fruita Monument HS in 2020… Was an All-Southwestern League performer for the Jay Valentine coached Wildcats… Qualified for state two years in a row... Finished 78th as a senior in 2019 before taking 31st at the Nike Cross Nationals Southwest Regional with a 5K XC PR of 19:28.97... Placed 91st at state as a junior... Has track PRs of 2:40.42 (800), 5:47.44 (1600) and 12:10.47 (3200), all set as a junior in 2019 before her senior season was canceled by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Personal: Is majoring in exercise science and aspires to help people recover from injuries… Daughter of Earl and Malissa Squires… Enjoys running, hiking, taking her dog for walks, riding horses, photography and reading a good book.
Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because I felt like there was a good opportunity to be able to grow as an athlete and student here. The exercise science program here was impressive as well along with the PA program.”
