As a Sophomore (2010-2011): USTFCCCA Indoor All-American…Preseason All-RMAC selection…Finished 2nd at the NCAA National Championships in the 1mile run…Placed 1st in her event at the 53rd annual Mt. SAC relays running the 5000m in 16:28.42, her personal best…Qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 5000m and had a provisional mark in the 1500m.
As a Redshirt Freshman (2009-2010): USTFCCCA All-American…Preseason All-RMAC (Distance)…1st Team All-RMAC (1 mile)…Placed 7th in the 5000m at the NCAA Outdoor Championships…Won her heat at the NCAA Indoor Championships in the 1 mile run, finished 4th in the final earning All-American Honors…RMAC Champion in the 1500m…RMAC Champions in the 1 mile run.
As a Freshman (2008-2009): Won the 3000m run at the Boise State Blue & Orange Invitational.
At Fairview High School: Cross Country State Champs…Named Team MVP in Track.
Personal: Majoring in Kinesiology…Daughter of Dan & Jill Skarda…Chose CMU for the awesome coaches and team…Aspires to become a physical therapist…Enjoys swimming, biking and playing The Sims 3.
