Amber, a Colorado native, began coaching at Colorado Mesa in August of 2023, but she is no stranger to the university. Amber graduated from Colorado Mesa in 2020. She is currently the strength and conditioning coach for women's wrestling, women's lacrosse, softball, track & field, men's and women's tennis, and golf.

After Amber graduated from Colorado Mesa, she attended graduate school at Point Loma Nazarene University where she served as the graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach. Here, she trained men's and women's tennis as well as women's golf. In her time with the women's golf team, they won their first Pac-West conference championship in program history.

Amber spent one and a half years with the United States Olympic Committee after graduating from Point Loma - six months in Chula Vista, CA and one year in Colorado Springs, CO. In Chula Vista, she worked with several Olympic and Olympic hopeful track & field athletes including Will Claye and Laulauga Tausaga-Collins as well as Paralympic track & field athletes including Kym Crosby and Lex Gillette. In addition, she headed the strength and conditioning for the Team USA archery resident athletes. When in Colorado Springs, Amber worked closely with the USA wrestling elite accelerator programs (EAP) for men's and women's freestyle as well as Greco-Roman. She also served a handful of Olympic and Olympic hopeful rifle and pistol shooters, cyclists, figure skaters, and rowers including Lexi Lagan, Lily Williams, and pairs skaters Danny O'Shea and Ellie Kam.

Amber graduated from Colorado Mesa University with a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Psychology. She obtained a master's degree from Point Loma Nazarene University in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sport Performance. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and holds the Level 1 coaching certification with USA Weightlifting.Â
