As a Sophomore (2023-24): Went 11-19 in singles and 16-12 in doubles… Had the team’s best doubles record… Was 15-11 in team duals… Went 14-11 at No. 3 while winning a lone decision at No. 2… Played mostly with Delia Maier, going 14-11 with her… Also had a 2-1 record with Jane Steur… Was 10-17 in singles play during duals, playing in the No. 3-6 spots… Appeared mostly at No. 5, going 7-9 in that flight… Was also 2-5 at No. 4, 1-2 at No. 6 and 0-1 in her lone top-half decision (No. 3)… Was selected to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team… Named to the Academic All-PacWest squad for the second straight year… Received the ITA Scholar-Athlete Award for the second straight year as well.

As a Freshman (2022-23): Was third on the team with singles wins, going 13-8… Had a 9-6 dual record, posting a 3-0 mark at No. 4 and a 4-2 record at No. 5… Was 2-4 when in the No. 6 spot… Was also solid in doubles, going 9-6 overall… Was 6-5 in duals, playing exclusively at No. 3 doubles with five different partners… Earned ITA Scholar-Athlete and Academic All-PacWest honors.

Prep: 2022 graduate of Heritage High School… Captained the Eagles for three years playing at No. 1 singles for three years (2020-22) after playing at No. 3 as a freshman in the spring of 2019… Won the regional title as a senior… Was a 4-year academic and varsity athletic letter-winner… Was named the 2022 senior class’ Distinguished Athlete and Outstanding Senior.

Personal: Is majoring in nursing and has always wanted to be a nurse… Daughter of Mark and Erika Thomas… Older sister Lauren played for the Mavericks through 2022.

Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because I love the tennis facility and I am very interested in the nursing program. I also wanted to stay in state but be far enough away from home.”
