  • 2022 Academic All-PacWest
As a Junior (2023-24): Finished her senior year with a 10-15 singles record and 14-10 doubles record while playing in the top flights… Went 7-13 in singles during team duals, including a 5-12 record at No. 1… Was 2-1 when playing in the second flight… Played with Makenna Livingston in all but one of her doubles matches… Went 11-9 at No. 1 doubles with her… The duo won six of their final ten match-ups… Played one time with Kristen Thomas, winning that No. 2 match against CSU Pueblo in the final dual of the fall.

As a Junior (2022-23): Co-led the team with 30 combined singles and doubles wins… Had a solid 15-6 singles record, including a 13-4 dual meet mark in the top two spots of the Maverick lineup… Went 4-1 in the top flight and 9-3 at No. 2… Won nine straight and 12 of 13 matches in March and April during an impressive run… Led the team with 15 doubles wins, going 15-7… Went 11-6 in duals, posting a 3-4 record in the top flight and an 8-2 mark at No. 2… Won 9 of her final 10… Played with Macy Richards throughout most of the spring after partnering with Makenna Livingston in the fall… Reached the quarterfinals of the ITA West Regional with Livingston, helping the duo to a No. 6 ITA regional ranking after the fall.

As a Sophomore (2021-22): Was 8-9 in doubles and 4-14 in singles play, missing the end due to injury… Went 4-1 in doubles play in fall tournaments while posting a 4-8 dual meet record… Went 2-6 at No. 2 doubles and 2-2 at No. 3… Played all but one of the 12 duals with Halle Romero… Played in the No. 1 singles spot when healthy, going 1-10 in those duals… Also had a 3-4 record in fall tournaments to post a 4-14 overall mark… Named to the Academic All-PacWest team.

As a Freshman (2021): Won 20 matches in her rookie season after physically coming to campus in the spring… Attended online in the fall of 2020 while residing in her native land of New Zealand… Was 7-14 in singles, playing predominantly at the No. 1 position, going 6-12… Was second on the team in doubles wins with 13, posting a 13-11 overall record… Played with three different partners, going 9-8 with Halle Romero… The duo was 9-7 at No 2… Was also 3-2 at No. 1 doubles with Maike Waldburger and 1-1 at No. 2 with Lauren Thomas.

Prep: 2019 graduate of Baradene College of the Sacred Heart… Helped her school win a national championship in football (soccer).

Personal: Is majoring in biochemistry… Hopes for a career in the medical or scientific fields… Daughter of Leeanne and Peter Coman… Has three siblings— Jack, Evie and Xavier… Enjoys listening to music, being in the sun and hanging out with my friends.

Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because I really got along with the tennis coach and I think the team and people at CMU seem nice. They also do the degree I am wanting to pursue.”
