2024-25 (As a Sophomore): Co-led the Mavericks with a 18-13 doubles record alongside partner Jade Brilhante… Earned Third Team All-PacWest honors in doubles, becoming the first Maverick doubles duo to ever do so… Was 15-11 in doubles play during team duals, going 14-10 at No. 1… The duo won five straight matches at the end of the regular season before going 1-2 with another unfinished match during the PacWest Tournament… Had a 12-19 singles record, including a 10-17 record in duals… Went 10-10 at No. 2 singles and made one spot start at No. 1… Recorded a nationally-ranked win over Cal State LA’s Sofia Pavlova on Mar. 16… Went 5-5 in the Mavs’ final ten duals and claimed a win over Hawai’i Hilo to help give the Mavs their first ever PacWest Tournament team victory… Also earned a multitude of academic honors… Named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District
® squad… Was also a repeat Academic All-PacWest honor and ITA Scholar-Athlete Award winner.
2023-24 (As a Freshman): Led the team in singles (18) and total wins (32) in her debut season… Was 18-15 overall in singles… Went 14-12 in duals, playing mostly at No. 3… Was also 1-1 in spot starts at both No. 1 and 2… Played with senior Julianna Campos in doubles throughout the season… Was 11-16 in doubles during team duals… Went 9-14 at No. 2 and 2-2 in the top flight… Reached the quarterfinals of the ITA West Regional Championships in the fall with her… Named to the Academic All-Pac West selection… Also received the ITA Scholar-Athlete Award.
Prep: 2023 graduate of Chandler High School… Earned district MVP and district player of the year honors as a senior for the Abe Olivas coached Wolves… Was also named as the Premier Section Player of the Year and finished third at the state tournament… Was a first team all-state pick as a sophomore, when she was also named as the region player of the year and all-district team MVP as well as the Chandler Unified School District Player of the Year… Was a second team all-state pick as a sophomore.
Personal: Is majoring in sports management and would like to become a sports agent… Daughter of Shea and Tracy Rodriguez… Has one younger sibling— Hayden… Enjoys being outside and hanging out with friends.
