2024-25 (As a Junior): Competed in ten meets, including the RMAC and NCAA Championships… Qualified for the national meet for the first time after a stellar conference championship meet… Accounted for 104 team points in her four individual events and another 16 when including her share of relay team points… Won two RMAC titles and four medals and all-conference honors… Won the 200 Fly while also swimming the third leg on CMU’s RMAC Championship record-setting 200 Free Relay team that finished in 1:31.64… Claimed the silver medal and a third First Team All-RMAC certificate of the year in the 200 IM, posting a personal-best and NCAA “B” cut time of 2:04.86 (altitude-adjusted)… Won the bronze medal and a Second Team All-RMAC honor in the 400 IM with a personal-best of 4:25.09 (converted)… Also set a NCAA “B” cut personal-best of 51.58 (converted) in a RMAC Championship 100 Free Time trial… Took tenth in the 200 Breast with a season-best time of 2:22.03 (converted)… Anchored the Mavs to a “B” heat win in the 200 Medley Relay… Was invited to the NCAA meet in both the 200 Fly and 400 IM and competed in both of those events as well as the 100 Free and 400 IM… Finished 22
nd in the 200 Fly (2:04.43) at the NCAA Championships… Also finished 27
th in the 400 IM (4:31.07), 38

th in the 100 Free (52.59)… Set her NCAA qualifying time of 2:02.09 (converted) wo win the 200 Fly at the TYR CMU Invitational… Ranks second in program history with that time, which was the fastest in the RMAC throughout the season… Ranks eighth in both individual medleys with her RMAC Championship times… Was ranked second in the RMAC for the 200 IM and third in the 400 IM… Was voted on to the RMAC All-Academic First Team… Also earned a First Team CSCAA Scholar All-America honor.
2023-24 (As a Sophomore): Swam in ten meets, including the RMAC Championships… Scored 42 team points in her four individual events, scoring in all four… Reached the championship final in two, placing fifth in the 200 IM and sixth in the 100 Fly… Set a NCAA “B” cut time of 2:05.22 (altitude-adjusted) and season-best in the 200 IM… Also set a personal-best of 2:20.48 to place 11
th in the 200 Breast… Won the consolation final of the 100 Breast with a season-best adjusted time of 1:05.17 to place ninth overall… Swam the third leg on the Mavs’ “B” heat winning 200 Medley, 200 Free and 400 Medley Relay teams… Had an adjusted season-best times of 57.11 (100 Fly) at the TYR/CMU Invitational and another season-best of 2:08.91 in the 200 Fly at the UNLV Invitational… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll… Was ranked amongst the RMAC’s top 10 on the season-long performance lists in three championship events: 200 IM (7
th), 100 Breast (8
th) and 200 Breast (10
th).
Summer 2023: Set personal-best LCM times of 1:16.26 (100 breast) and 2:31.38 (200 IM) at the Western Slope League Championships before going on to compete at the USA Swimming Futures Championship in San Antonio, Texas while representing Maverick Aquatics.
2022-23 (As a Freshman): Competed in 10 meets, including the RMAC Championships… Scored in all four individual and all six of her total events at the conference meet… Earned a pair of Second Team All-RMAC honors, claiming third place and the bronze medal in the 100 fly before finishing fourth in the 200 breast… Turned in personal-best altitude-adjusted times of 56.80 in the 100 fly… Also finished eighth in the 200 IM with a season-best time of 2:08.23 (adjusted)… Won the consolation heat to place ninth in the 100 breast… Also swam on the Mavs “B” heat winning 200 free and 400 medley relays… Scored 51 team points in her four individual events and 60 when accounting for her share of the relay points… Set a NCAA “B” cut and personal-best time of 1:03.83 in the 100 breast during the TYR CMU Invitational to rank sixth in program-history… Also had a season-best time of 2:20.91… Was a Second Team CSCAA Scholar All-American.
Prep: 2022 graduate of ThunderRidge High School… Was 4-year state qualifier for the Bailey Williamson coached Grizzlies… Served as the captain for two years… Received team MVP and most dedicated awards… Was an honorable mention academic all-state selection.
Club: Finished third in the 200 breast and fourth in the 100 breast at the 2022 Lone Corse State Championships while representing Highlands Ranch Aquatics… Had finished third in the 400 free at the 2021 Senior Long Course State Championships.
Personal: Is majoring in marketing with a minor in exercise science… Wants to go into medical sales and continue a coaching a career…Is now in her seventh season of being a swim coach... Parents are Gaby Hosea, David Hosea and Tom Bartusiak… Has two siblings— Nina Bartusiak and Walker Hosea… Relative Bella Ingui plays softball at Benedictine College… Loves anything outside, saying her favorite activities are skiing and hiking... Loves doing 14ers and paddle boarding.
Why I Chose CMU: “I loved this environment from the second I stepped on campus for my visit. The team is truly my family and the coaches showed how much they care about us, not only as athletes, but as people as well. I also love how small the class sizes are because it creates a really supportive classroom environment. Grand Junction is also a great location for people who love to go outside!"
