2024-25 (As a Sophomore):
Swim in nine meets, including the RMAC Championships… Was also a NCAA Championship qualifier but did not compete at the meet due to roster limits… Was invited in the 200 Back after posting a personal-best altitude-adjusted time of 2:00.46 in a time trial during the TYR/CMU Invitational… Was ranked fifth in the RMAC with that time… Also ranks eighth in CMU history with it… Had other personal-best converted times of 57.25 (100 Back) and 2:07.33 (200 IM) at that TYR meet… Set a personal-best of 1:56.46 (converted) in the 200 Free at the RMAC Championships, competing as an exhibition swimmer.

2023-24 (As a Freshman): Swam in six meets… Competed as an exhibition swimmer at the RMAC Championships… Set three new personal-best times at that meet, posting times of 24.78 (50 Free), 53.24 (100 Free) and 2:03.63 (200 Free), the last two of which were altitude-adjusted… Had season-best altitude-adjusted backstroke times of 57.70 (100) and 2:04.73 (200) at the TYR/CMU Invitational.

Prep: 2023 graduate of Boise High School… Was coached by Jeff Erwin… Placed third in both the 50 free and 100 back at the 5A State Championships as a senior in November, 2022… Had finished third in the 100 back and fifth in the 50 free at the 2021 meet.

Club: Placed fifth in the 200 back at the Speedo Sectionals in July, 2023…

Personal: Is a pre-nursing major… Wants to become a nurse and have a stable and flexible career where she can go in many different directions… Would also love to travel as a nurse and work in many different places she has dreamt of visiting… Daughter of Cory and Marina Shuler… Has one younger sibling named Sam… Loves to do outdoor activities such as whitewater kayaking, paddleboarding, surfing, camping, fishing and many more.

Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because I really wanted to be a part of the hardworking and successful swim team. I also wanted to continue my studies along with swimming at a school that was in an area where I can partake in my other outdoor hobbies as well.”
