2022-23 (Sophomore): Competed for the CMU Club team in the spring of 2023… Placed seventh in the 100 free and 13^th in the 50 free at the College Club National Championships in Columbus, Ohio.

2021-22 (Freshman): Competed in the team’s first two meets… Posted times of 26.19 (50 free), 54.46 (100 free), 1:56.44 (200 free) and 11:0.21 (1000 free) at the Intermountain Shootout… Had a better 50 free time of 25.37 at the CMU Duals.

Prep: 2021 graduate of Rampart High School… Did not compete in high school swimming.

Club: Swam for Pikes Peak Athletics… Was a 3-event finalist at the 2020 Colorado Senior Short Course Championships placing seventh in the 100 free and eighth in both the 200 and 500 free… Had placed fourth in the 200 free, fifth in the 200 back and eighth in the 50 free at the 2019 Colorado Zone 5 Long Course Open… Set personal-best long course times of 28.25 (50 free), 2:15.25 (200 free) and 4:47.51 (400 free) at the 2021 Speedo Sectionals in Austin, Texas in June.

Personal: Is majoring in counseling psychology… Would like to study psychedelic medicine and how it can help people struggling with mental health problems and then open my own practice that offers psychedelic treatments .. Daughter of Jan and Mytchell Mead… Has a younger sister— Kasidy… Loves to read, hike or just sit outside in the sun… Enjoys listening to music, reading, watchinig movies and hiking.

Why I Chose CMU: “I felt that the coaches and team would be a good fit for me.  I liked Coach Wender's training program and the team's environment."
