2024-25 (As a Freshman): 2024-25: Swam in ten meets, including the RMAC and NCAA Championships… Earned a First Team CSCAA All-America honor after helping the Mavs set a school-record time of 1:30.93 and place fourth in the 200 Free Relay at the NCAA meet… Had qualified for the NCAA meet in both the 50 Free and 100 Free, placing 18^th and 49^th in those events… Set her qualifying and personal-best times of 22.95 and 50.96 (altitude-adjusted) at the RMAC Championships as an exhibition swimmer… Ranks second and tenth in program history with those times… Was third on the RMAC season-long list in the 50 Free… Was ranked eighth in the 100 Free… Also had a personal-best of 57.16 in the 100 Back at the conference meet… Had a personal-best 200 Back time of 2:06.57 at the TYR CMU Invitational… Helped the Mavs set a El Pomar Natatorium Record time of 1:31.62 in the 200 Free Relay at the TYR meet… Named as a First Team CSCAA Scholar All-American.

Prep: 2024 graduate of Columbine High School… Finished fifth in the 100 Back and seventh in the 100 Free at the 5A State Championships as a senior, setting a personal-best time of 52.09 (altitude-adjusted) in the free… Placed eighth in the 50 Free as a junior after setting a personal-best of 23.84 seconds in the prelims.

Personal: Is majoring in finance and wants to become a financial advisor… Daughter of Dustin and Paige Horn… Has a younger sibling— Reese… Enjoys traveling, baking, paddle boarding and reading.

Why I Chose CMU: “CMU is an excellent university, academically.  Their business school, specifically, offers courses in my area of interest and provides an opportunity to further my education through an excellent master’s program! What really stood out to me was how the coaches and swimmers care for their school, their team, and each other! I felt connected and valued the moment I stepped onto campus.”
