2024-25 (As a Sophomore): Swam in five meets… Set season-best altitude-adjusted times of 25.54 (50 Free), 1:57.47 (200 Free) and 5:09.97 (500 Free) and 17:39.98 (1650 Free) as an exhibition swimmer at the RMAC Championships… Had season-bests of 1:59.00 (200 Free), 10:38.85 (1000 Free) and 2:33.79 (200 Breast) at the TYR CMU Invitational…. Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.

2023-24 (As a Freshman): Swam in eight meets, including the RMAC Championships… Was an exhibition swimmer at the conference meet… Set a personal-best 100 Fly time of 1:00.15 (altitude-adjusted) at that meet… Set NCAA “B” cut altitude-adjusted times of  5:02.61 (500 Free), 10:24.06 (1000 Free) and 17:19.72 (1650 Free) at the TYR/CMU Invitational… Ranks eighth in CMU history with the 1650 time… Was also ranked fifth on the RMAC’s season-long performers list… Was ranked ninth in the RMAC for the 1000 Free… Also had a season-best 200 Free time of 1:56.31 at the TYR… Named as a Second Team CSCAA Scholar All-American.

Prep: 2023 graduate of Westlake High School… Was the Chaparrals’ team captain as both a junior and senior… Coached by Alison Soeleter… Won the 500 free at the UIL District 26-6A Championships before taking third at the Region 7 meet with a PB time of 5:01.37… Also qualified for the state championships.

Club: Competed at the USA Swimming Futures Championships-San Antonio in the summer of 2023, finishing tenth in the 800-meter free.

Personal: Is majoring in kinesiology with an emphasis in K-12 education… Wants to teach at a school of the deaf and be able to help them learn and inspire to become something greater than they already are… Daughter of Sheree and Dean Howard.

Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because I loved the atmosphere in the school and in the swim team. They also had the exact major that I wanted to do.”
