2024-25 (As a Freshman): Swam in six meets, including the RMAC Championships… Set season-best altitude-adjusted times of 1:08.14 (100 Breast) and 1:04.39 (100 Fly) as an exhibition swimmer at the conference meet… Had personal-best times of 1:00.12 (100 Back), 2:27.83 (200 Breast), 2:13.28 (200 IM) and 4:50.59 (400 IM) at the TYR CMU Invitational.
Prep: 2024 graduate of South Anchorage High School… Won the 100 breaststroke as a senior for the Kenny Fox before going on to place third in the state meet coached Wolverines… Set a personal best of 1:07.64 to win the regional title… Helped the team to a pair of regional titles… Was a state finalist in three of her four prep years… Finished third in the 100 Breast and seventh in the 200 IM at the state championships, setting a personal-best of 2:15.98 in the prelims.
Personal: Is majoring in biology… Hopes to go on to medical or PA school and work with babies or in an operating room… Daughter of Jodi and Sean McLaughlin… Has an older sister— Molly… Enjoys hiking, reading, working out and swimming in all bodies of water.
