2023-24 (As a Sophomore): Earned three first team and four total CSCAAA All-America honors while winning a national title as the Mavs’ top breaststroker… Helped the Mavs win the 400 Medley Relay at the NCAA Division II National Championships while setting a school-record time of 3:38.52… Also helped the Mavs finish third in the 200 Medley Relay… Was also an individual all-American in both breaststroke events… Finished fifth at the national meet over 100 yards… Set a personal-best time of 1:02.00 in prelims before finishing just off that pace (1:02.05) in the finals… Ranks second in CMU history… Had also turned in a 1:01.51 relay split during the national title-winning relay… Went on to win the consolation final and place ninth overall in the 200 Breast with a personal-best time of 2:16.52… Ranks fourth in CMU history in the 200… Also fared well at the conference level, helping the Mavs win and set new RMAC Championship Records of 1:40.82 and 3:41.27 in the medley relays… Also won a Second Team All-RMAC certificate with a third place finish in the 100 Breast… Placed seventh in the 200 Breast while competing in the 200 IM and 100 Fly to round out her event slate… Set a season-best of 2:11.63 (converted) in the 200 IM, placing 17
th… Ended up ranked second on the RMAC season-long performers list in the 100 Breast and third in the 200… Competed in nine meets throughout the season… Had a strong start to the year, winning the 50 Breast and placing second in the 100 Breast at the Intermountain Shootout enabling her to win the initial RMAC Swimmer of the Week award for the season… Also set a 100 IM personal-best time of 1:01.40 (converted) at that meet… Went on to help the Mavs set 200 (1:39.97) and 400 (3:39.83) Medley Relay El Pomar Natatorium records during the TYR/CMU Invitational… The 200 time is also a school-record… Was named as a First Team CSCAA Scholar All-American.
Summer 2023: Set a new personal LCM best of 1:13.99 in the 100 breast to finish second at the Utah Lone Course Senior State Championships while representing her Olympus Aquatics club… Also finished second in the 200 breast.
2022-23 (As a Freshman): Competed in all 11 meets, including the RMAC and NCAA Championships… Set a personal-best of 1:02.53 in the preliminary heats of the 100-yard breaststroke before finishing eighth in the finals to earn First Team CSCAA All-America honors… Also qualified for the NCAA meet in the 200 breaststroke, finishing 30
th (2:22.84)… Earned First Team All-RMAC honors in that event, claiming the silver medal in a personal-best 2:17.87 (altitude-adjusted) finishing only behind 2022 National Champion teammate Lily Borgenheimer… Also earned Second Team honors with a bronze medal-winning performance in the 100 breast… Scored 48 team points in her four individual events at the conference meet, winning the consolation final of the 200 IM with a personal-best time of 2:08.37 (altitude-adjusted) before finishing 11
th in the 100 fly with a season-best adjusted time of 59.01… Swam the breaststroke leg on the Mavs’ “B” heat winning 200 and 400 medley relay teams… Was named as a First Team CSCAA Scholar All-American.
Prep: 2022 graduate of Olympus High School… Swam for the Titans, coached by Tom Thorum… Won the 5A state title as a senior in the 100 breast with a personal best time of 1:03.74 (altitude-adjusted)… Also took second in the 100 fly… Also won the state title in the 100 breast as a junior in 2021.
Club: Finished fifth in the 100 breast at the 2021 Speedo Sectionals in Phoenix after winning the event at the 2021 Utah Swimming Short Course State Championships… Also took third in the 100 fly and eighth in both the 200 breast and 400 IM at the state meet.
Personal: Is majoring in psychology… Aspires to become a sports psychologist and help athletes figure out the mental side of sports because it has been something she has struggled with... Daughter of Andrew and Lisa Moran… Has two younger siblings— Miles and Rainie.
