2021-22 (Freshman): Competed in five meets, including the RMAC Championships… Was an exhibition swimmer at the conference meet… Set season-best times (altitude-adjusted) of 2:07.09 (200 free), 1:09.20 (100 breast), 2:232.32 (200 breast) and 2:33.71 (200 IM) at the conference meet… The 200 free time was also a personal-best.
Prep: 2021 graduate of Decatur High School… Swam for the Gators, coached by Sam Hunt… Qualified for the state meet in all three years it was held (2017-19) during her prep career… Made the podium in both 2017 (5
th) and 2018 (7
th) in the 100 breast… Qualified for sectionals every year since 2016… Served as the team captain in 2020… Graduated high school with an associate’s degree in science and receive high honors for having a 3.5+ GPA throughout her career.
Personal: Is majoring in pre-electrical and computer engineering… Has an end goal to work for NASA in their aerospace division with a back-up plan to work for a great IT company… Daughter of Charis and Brad Tucker… Has three siblings— Evie, Violet and Dean… Besides swimming, enjoys reading, outdoor activities and trying out new sports.
