2023-24 (Senior):
Competed in nine meets… Served as a team captain… Scored in all seven of her events at the RMAC Championships, helping the Mavs win the 400 Free Relay with a school-record time of 3:21.63… Earned a First Team All-RMAC certificate as the third leg on that team… Also reached the championship final in the 100 Free, placing seventh after setting a season-best and NCAA “B” Cut time of 51.38 (altitude-adjusted in the prelims)… Also had a season-best time of 1:53.29 in the 200 Free prelims before placing 15th in that event… Finished ninth in the 50 Free… Helped the Mavs win the “B” sections of the 200 Medley, 200 Free and 800 Free Relays as well… Accounted for 23 team points in her three individual events plus another 26 when counting her share of the relay points… Had a season-best and NCAA “B” cut time of 23.71 in the 50 Free at the UNLV Invitational… Ended up tenth on the RMAC season-long performance list in both the 50 and 100 Free… Named as a CSCAA Scholar All-American and to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.

2022-23 (Junior): Competed in all 11 swim meets, including the RMAC and NCAA Division II National Championships… Was a relay swimmer at the national meet, who helped the Mavs set a former school-record time of 1:32.12 en-route to a second place finish in the 200 free relay at the national meet... Earned First Team CSCAA All-America honors after picking up three all-conference honors, including two first team plaudits… Had also shined in that event at the RMAC Championships, helping the Mavs set a former RMAC Championship and pool record time of 1:32.74… Also shared the RMAC title with teammate Logan Anderson in the 50 free with a personal-best time of 23.64 seconds, good for the No. 6 spot (tie) on the CMU top 10 performers’ list… Also earned Second Team All-RMAC honors in the 100 free, taking fourth at the conference championships in a season-best time of 51.60 seconds (altitude-adjusted)… Set NCAA provisional qualifying times in both the 50 and 100 free… Finished 11th in the 200 free with a personal-best adjusted time of 1:53.70… Swam legs on three “B” heat winning relay teams as well at the RMAC meet (200 medley, 400 medley, 400 free)… Was tabbed as a First Team CSCAA Scholar All-American.

2021-22 (Sophomore): Competed in nine meets, including the NCAA Division II Championships… Anchored the Mavs’ 200 free relay team to a 12th place finish at the national meet, allowing her to pick up Second Team CSCAA All-America honors… Won the RMAC title and First Team All-RMAC honors in that event as well… Also claimed a bronze medal and Second Team All-RMAC honors by tying for third in the 50 free at the RMAC meet… Posted NCAA “B” cut time of 23.83 a 50 free time trial during the RMAC meet… Had also set a “B” cut time of 51.80 (altitude-adjusted) to finish fifth in the 100 free at the RMAC meet… Also scored an 11th place finish in the 100 fly while helping the Mavs’ 200 medley and 400 free “B” relay teams to heat wins and ninth overall place finishes… Had a 200 free season-best of 1:55.95 at the A3 Performance Invitational… Anchored the Mavs to a former school-record time of 1:42.47 in the 200 medley relay at the A3 meet.

2020-21: Took a year off from school.

At Hawai’i (2019-20): Set season-best times of 23.72 (50 free) and 1:56.61 (200 free) at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships… Placed 20th in the 50 free and 34th in the 200 as a member of the Rainbow Wahine squad that won the MPSF team title… Had finished 17th in the 100 free prelims… Had set a personal-best of 51.56 in that event at the Art Adamson Invitational… Finished fourth in the 50 free and fifth in the 100 free in a Jan. 11 dual against Minnesota.
Prep: Was a 4-time state champion for the Chugiak High School Mustangs… Was coached by Anne Williams… Graduated in 2019 magma cum laude… Won the 50 and 100 free as a senior in November, 2018 after doing the same in 2016.

Club: Won the 2019 Alaska Senior Championship in the 1000 free while representing the Aurora Swim Team… Had won four events in 2018… Won five events at the Alaska Long Course Championships in 2018 after claiming six events at the Alaska Junior Olympic Championships.

Personal: Is majoring in psychology and wants to eventually become a therapist… Daughter of Kelly Powers… Has two siblings— Eva Powers and Vivian Williamson… Enjoys to backcountry ski, climb, hike and do various kinds of art in her free time.

Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because it was a great fit for me. It met all of my wants and needs in a school when it came to academics, swimming, and outdoors.”
