2024-25 (As a Junior):
Swam in all 11 meets, including the RMAC and NCAA Championships… Qualified for the national meet for the first time, competing in three events… Was invited in the 400 IM after claiming the silver medal and First Team All-RMAC honors in that discipline at the RMAC Championships… Swam to a personal-best altitude-adjusted time of 4:25.08 to do so… Ranks seventh in program history with that time… Was second behind all-American teammate Sophia Bains on the RMAC season-long performance list as well… Also set NCAA “B” cut times of 4:59.20 and 10:18.32 in the 500 and 1000 Free at the TYR CMU Invitational… Placed 29th in the 400 IM (4:31.42), 33rd in the 1000 Free (10:24.81) and 39th in the 500 Free (5:01.50) at the national championships… Scored in five events at the RMAC Championships while anchoring the Mavs’ 800 Free “B” Relay team to a heat win… Also finished 11th in the 1650 Free with a season-best time of 17:33.71 (converted), 13th in the 1000 Free and 17th in the 500 Free... Scored 67 team points in her four individual events.

2023-24 (As a Sophomore): Competed in nine meets, including the RMAC Championships… Scored in all four of her events, claiming a Second Team All-RMAC honor thanks to a fourth place finish in the 1650 Free… Also finished fifth in the 400 IM, setting a NCAA “B” cut and personal-best time of 4:29.86 (altitude-adjusted)… Also took eighth in the 1000 Free and ninth in the 500 Free… Accounted for 49 team points… Set three other NCAA “B” Cut times and personal-bests at the TYR/CMU Invitational… Turned in altitude-adjusted times of 5:00.17 (500 Free), 10:16.14 (1000 Free) and 17:15.69 (1650 Free) at that meet… Now ranks sixth in CMU history for the 1000 Free and seventh for the 1650 Free… Finished the season fourth on the RMAC’s performance list in the 1650 Free… Was also fifth in the 1000 Free, seventh in the 400 IM and ninth in the 500 Free.

2022-23 (As a Freshman): Competed in ten meets, including the RMAC Championships… Recorded top-8 finishes in all four of her individual events at the conference meet, earning a pair of Second Team All-RMAC certificates… Claimed the bronze medal with a third place finish in the 1650 free, posting a season-best altitude-adjusted time of 17:25.23... Finished fourth in the 1,000 free to earn her other All-RMAC honor… Was fifth in the 500 free and eighth in the 200 fly… Scored 56 team points… Set a NCAA provisional qualifying time of 5:00.21 in the 500 free… Also had a personal-best time of 1:53.42 in a 200 free time trial… Turned in a NCAA “B” cut and season-best of 10:21.36 in the 1000 free during the TYR/CMU Invitational… Had a personal-best of 2:08.25 in a 200 fly time trial during the invitational… Named as a Second Team CSCAA Scholar All-American.

Prep: 2022 graduate of Allen D. Nease High School… Was coached by Gustavo Caldo… Helped the Panthers win a 200 free relay state title as a freshman… Named the team’s Rookie of the Year and Captain’s Award winner that year (2018)… Received the Coach’s Award in 2021.
 
Club: Was a 2-event finalist at the Florida Long Course Senior Championships in June, 2021 while representing the St. Augustine Cyclones… Coached by Greg Burgess and Frank Holleman… Finished fifth in the 200 fly (2:30.68) and eighth in the 200 free (2:13.40)… Had finished third in the 400 IM (5:25.71) and sixth in the 800 free (9:31.66) at the 2019 meet… Set sectional and futures qualifying cuts… Helped the team place fifth in the open water zone meet in 2021.
 
Personal: Is majoring in computer information systems… Wants to pursue a career in STEM fields… Daughter of Jennifer and Ken Hinkle… Has two siblings— Petal and Taylor.
 
Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because it had what I was looking for in a university. It is a beautiful campus, a small school with smaller class sizes, a good and supportive athletic department and a high-ranking swim team with male and female teams.”
