2024-25 (As a Freshman): Competed in six meets, including the RMAC Championships… Set personal-best altitude-adjusted times of 2:27.28 (200 Breast), and 2:07.67 (200 Fly) during the conference meet as an exhibition swimmer… Was ranked ninth on the RMAC’s season-long performance list in the 200 Fly… Also had a season-best time of 58.49 in the 100 Fly at the RMAC Championships… Had other season-bests of 1:07.60 (100 Breast), 2:08.81 (200 IM) and 4:38.52 (400 IM) during the TYR CMU Invitational.

Prep: Varsity swimmer throughout all four years of her time with the Cypress Bay Lightning Bolts… Graduated from the Broward Virtual School… Won the 200 IM while taking third at the 4A Region 4 Championships while qualifying for the state championships in both events as a senior… Helped her team win medals in the 200 and 400 Free Relays as well.

Club: Was a 5-event finalist at the Florida Gulf Coast Senior Championships in May, 2024 while representing the South Florida Aquatic Club… Also made the finals in five events at the Speedo World Championships in December, 2023.

Personal: Is majoring in sport management… Would like a career in sports, including some possibilities of physical therapy, coaching or personal training… Says “I enjoy working with athletes and I feel that I'll always have a passion to help them succeed. I know these things may change in the future, but I just want whatever I do in the future to be something I look forward to doing every day.”… Daughter of Mark and Jessica DeLuna… Has an older sister named Jennifer and an older brother named Christian, who wrestles at Sienna Heights University… Enjoys going to the gym with friends, drawing and going out with friends.

Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because of the amazing people there, the opportunities given, and it was the one recruiting trip where I didn't want to go home. I thought the campus was beautiful, the team and coaches were everything I looked for in college swimming, and I loved the learning atmosphere.”
