Biography
Prep: 2025 graduate of Rocky Mountain High School… Swam for the Lobos and Coach Quinn Edgar… Was named as the Northern Conference Swimmer of the Year in 2025… Placed eighth in both the 200 and 500 Free at the 5A State Championships as a senior… Set a non-adjusted school-record time of 5:08.41 in the 500 that year… Won the Northern League title in the 500 Free while finishing as the runner-up in the 200 Free… Had also placed eighth in the 500 Free at the 2024 state championships as a junior.
Club: Competed for the Fort Collins Area Swim Team… Coached by Doug Stone… Placed seventh in the 1000 Free and ninth in the 200 Fy at the 2025 Speedo Sectionals in Rochester, Minnesota… Set a 200 Fly Futures Cut time of 2:04.52 (unadjusted) in 2024… Placed eighth in that discipline at the 2024 Speedo Long Course Sectionals in Federal Way, Washington… Also placed ninth at that year’s Western Zone Senior Championships.
Personal: Is majoring in biology… Has a goal of becoming a physician’s assistant… Daughter of Dean Lehmkhuler and Ann Young… Has a younger sister— Abby… Enjoys doing things outside such as paddleboarding, hiking, camping, backpacking and boating… Also likes to spend time with her family and friends.
Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because of the amazing swim team dynamics I witnessed when I was on my visit. It was also important to me that CMU has a medical academic path for me to follow as I work toward my career goals.”
