As a Redshirt Junior (2022-23): Swam in nine meets, including the RMAC Championships… Scored in all four of her individual and six total events at the conference meet… Reached the championship final in two, placing fourth in the 100 breast and sixth in the 100 free… Earned Second Team All-RMAC honors in the 100 breast while turning in a personal-best altitude-adjusted time of 1:04.14… Ranks sixth in program-history with that mark… Had a season-best of 24.09 in the 50 free… Finished tenth in the 200 breast and 11
th in the 100 free with a personal-best time of 52.77… Scored 31 team points in her four individual events… Also anchored the Mavs “B” 200 and 400 free relay teams to heat wins… Had other personal-best times of 2:24.00 (200 breast) and 2:03.10 (200 free) during the season… Was named to the RMAC All-Academic First Team for the second straight year.
As a Redshirt Sophomore (2021-22): Competed in nine meets, including the RMAC Championships… Received the RMAC Summit Award for having the highest GPA amongst all women’s swimmers and divers at the RMAC Championships… Also named to the RMAC All-Academic First Team and as a Second Team CSCAA Scholar All-American… Scored in all four of her individual and seven overall events at the RMAC Championships… Claimed Second Team All-RMAC honors while claiming the bronze medal in he 100 breast… Also placed fifth in the 50 free, seventh in the 200 breast and 11
th in the 100 free while accounting for 48 team points in her four individual events… Was responsible for another 12 ½ team points when including her share of the relays… Helped the Mavs “B” relay squads win their heats in both the 200 and 400 medley relays while helping the 200 free relay team to a tenth place overall finish… Set season-best times of 24.05 (50 free) and 52.84 (100 free-altitude adjusted) at the conference meet… Had turned in season-bests of 1:06.88 (100) and 2:24.14 (200) in the breaststroke events at the A3 Performance Invitational.
As a Sophomore (2020-21): Competed in four dual meets during the abbreviated season… Won the 100 breast in an Oct. 31 dual against Western Colorado with a season-best time of 1:07.17… Had other season-bests of 2:30.84 (200 breast) and 25.30 (50 free)... Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
As a Freshman (2019-20): Competed in seven meets, including the RMAC Championships as an exhibition swimmer… Competed in five events at that meet, setting season-bests in each… Had altitude-adjusted times of 24.33 (50 free), 52.87 (100 free), 59.74 (100 fly), 1:04.28 (100 breast) and 2:24.41 (200 breast)... Ranks fourth in school-history in the 100 breast.
Prep: Won the 100 breast as a senior at the 2018 Colorado 3A State Championships... Finished in 1:06.05... Also placed fourth in the 50 free (25.17)... Swam for La Junta High School but attended nearby Rocky Ford... Graduated in 2019... Coached by Lisa Korbitz... Placed second in the 100 breast as a junior in 2018 and third as a sophomore in 2017... Also finished fifth and sixth in the 50 free those years.
Personal: Daughter of Sharri and Jon Moreland... Has an older brother (Max) and younger sister (Gracie)... Majoring in English education and would love to be able to teach English in Spain... Loves to swim, paint, read and paddle board.
