As a Redshirt Freshman (2021-22): Competed in the Intermountain Shootout, posting altitude-adjusted times of 2:14.91 (200 Back) and 4:56.61 (400 IM).
As a Freshman (2020-21): Versatile swimmer who competed in five of the team’s six dual meets during the abbreviated season… Had her best day on Jan. 22 against BYU setting season bests (altitude-adjusted) of 1:58.52 (200 free), 5:22.74 (500 free) and 2:20.62 (200 fly)… Also had times of 2:12.83 (200 Back) and 11:04.31 (1000 free) during the season.
Prep: 2020 Graduate of Grand Junction High School… Coached by Ed Stehlin, who is CMU’s pool manager and volunteer assistant coach…. Was a multiple event state qualifier during all four years of her career with the Tigers…
Personal: Majoring in political science and mass communications… Daughter of Terry and Cami Kidd… Has one sibling (Taylor)… Wants to go into campaign managing or lobbying and hopes to make a difference and advocate for human rights.
Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU for the great coaching staff and the supportive team. The mass communications and political science programs were perfect for my career goals. I love Grand Junction and the area. It made sense to stay in my great hometown.”
