Prep: 2025 graduate of Palmer Ridge High School… Did not swim for the Bears.
Club: Swam for Pikes Paek Athletics… Coached by George Heigdiner… Helped the club win the long course state title twice… Was a Sectionals Qualifier… Finished fourth in the 200 Breast and seventh in the 400 IM at the Colorado Senior State Championships in July, 2025.
Personal: Is majoring in elementary education… Says “I want to be a mentor for kids who need one. I want to be a light in their world and make a difference for them. I want to help shape little humans.”… Parents are Chris & Pat Bains… Has five older siblings, including Sophia, a multiple-time all-American for the Mavs… Spends a majority of her time working, swimming and spending time with family but also loves to sit at the pool and to go shopping.
Why I Chose CMU: “Because once I stepping foot on campus I knew it was going to be home, the swim culture was everything! I wanted a big challenge going into college and CMU gives me that.”
