As a Redshirt Junior (2021-22 @ CMU): Swam in ten meets, equal to the most on the team, including the RMAC and NCAA Division II National Championships… Earned a pair of Second Team CSCAA All-America honors after placing tenth in the 1650 free and 15
th in the 1000 free at the national meet in Greensboro, North Carolina… Also took 20
th in the 1000 free… Had qualified after a strong RMAC Championship meet, that saw her win two conference titles, three first team and four total All-RMAC honors… Set new personal-best and NCAA qualifying altitude-adjusted times of 4:54.42 (500), 10:04.53 (1000), 16:50.16 (1650) and 4:27.26 (400 IM)… Won both the 1000 and 1650 with school-records setting times while taking second in the 500 free after posting her top time in the prelims as the top qualifier… Ranks second in CMU history with her 500 free time… Also finished fourth in the 400 IM before swimming the opening leg on CMU’s “B” 800 free relay team, which won their heat to place ninth overall… Ranks seventh in CMU history with her 400 IM time… Set a new PB 200 free time of 1:51.98, which also eclipsed the NCAA “B” standard… Ranks eighth in CMU history with that altitude-adjusted time… Also anchored the Mavs’ 400 free relay “B” team to a heat win and another ninth place overall finish… Accounted for 72 team points in her four individual events, third most in the entire meet, and another nine when considering her share of the relay points… Also won the 1000 free at the A3 Performance Invitational and had three top-3 dual-meet finishes throughout the season.
As a Junior (2020-21 @ Eastern Michigan): Competed in two early meets posting three top-five finishes… Had season-bests of 5:13.84 (500 free) and 10:21.46 (1000 free) against Akron on Nov. 20… Finished fourth in the 1000 free with that personal-best time… Had placed third in that event and fifth in the 500 free against Toledo on Nov. 6.
As a Sophomore (2019-20 @ Eastern Michigan): Competed in eight meets for Eastern… Had a career-best 500 free time of 4:58.78 as an exhibition swimmer at the Mid-American Championships… Had a 200 back time of 2:02.07 at the Dennison Invitational, reaching the CSCAA National Invitational Championship “B” qualifying standard in both… Posted a season-bet of 2:10.53 in the 200 IM at the Dennison Invitational as well… Academic All-MAC selection.
As a Freshman (2018-19 @ Eastern Michigan): Swam in 10 meets in her first season collegiate season with the Eagles… Recorded 13 top-five finishes, including one event title…Her first collegiate win came against Albion, Feb. 2, in the 200 back, tapping in with a time of 2:06.16… Set season-bests in both the 100 (57.29) and 200 back (2:04.10) Jan. 19, vs. Buffalo…Recorded a personal-best time of 2:05.30 in the 200 IM at the MAC Championships, Feb. 2.
Prep: Two-year letter-winner and captain for Coach Corey Bergen and the Dexter High School Dreadnaughts... Honored as an All-American Scholar in her prep career, completed in 2018… Member of the 2015 Dreadnaughts team that won MHSSA D2 State Championship.
Personal: Is majoring in studio art… Aspires to work in a graphic art and design role for a company that focuses on information and education of mental health Daughter of Mike and Jodi Kinnard... Mother Jodi Kinnard ran for the Eastern Michigan Track team...Has two brothers, Clayton and Spencer and three sisters, Vivian, Jillian and Muriel... Clayton swims at Wayne State University.
