Biography

Career Synopsis: Will go down as one of the program's all-time top players... Set a program record for games played (84)... Tallied 34 goals, third most in CMU history... Also ranks third in career points (81)... Earned three total All-RMAC honors, including two first team accolades... Was also a consensus all-region pick in her last two years... Scored three game-winning goals in the NCAA Tournament, something no other Mav has accomplished... Helped lead the team to RMAC Regular Season (2021) and Tournament (2024) titles.

2024: Named to the First Team D2CCA All-South Central Region squad for the second straight year… Also earned Second Team USC All-Region honors… Was a First Team All-RMAC pick for the second straight year… Started all 20 matches… Led the Mavs in scoring for the second straight year with 12 goals… Also had five assists and a team-high 29 points… Was third in the conference for both goals and points… Was tied for sixth in assists… Led the RMAC in shots per game (3.70) and was third for total shots with 74… Was also tied for the RMAC lead with 42 shots on goals while leading the conference with her 2.10 per game average… Scored four game-winning goals, including one in the NCAA Tournament against Midwestern State… Was tied for the team lead and for third in the RMAC with her game-winning goal total... Went on to make CMU history as the only player to score a brace in an NCAA Tournament game, doing so in the 3-3 second round tie against top-ranked and top-seeded Colorado School of Mines, which was her final career game… Scored one of her four penalty kick goals in that game… Also scored both of the Mavs’ goals in a 2-0 win at Colorado Christian (Oct. 11)… Earned RMAC Offensive Player of the Week honors in back-to-back weeks on Oct. 15 and 22, scoring in four consecutive games during the stretch… Also named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.

2023: D2CCA All-American Third Team... USC All-Region First Team... D2CCA All-Region First Team... RMAC All-Conference First Team... RMAC Offensive Player of the Week (Sept. 19)... RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll... Played in all 23 games while making 16 starts... Ranked second in the conference with 15 goals while adding six assists to tie for the RMAC lead for offensive points (36)... Recorded seven game-winning goals to lead the conference... Her 15 goal and 36 point totals were both the fourth-highest season marks in program history... Enabled the Mavs to have an all-American for the third straight season... Randel marked the third-straight season... Was ranked amongst the RMAC's top 10 in all offensive categories... Was tied for fifth with 57 shots and tied for shots on goal with 30... Scored in 13 different games, posting 2-goal efforts against Angelo State (Sept. 14) and Westminster (Nov. 1)... Also had an assist and a career-best 5-point effort against Westminster in the regular season finale... Went on to score two RMAC Tournament goals while recording two assists... Had one of each in both the quarterfinal and semifinal wins while earning RMAC All-Tournament honors while helping the Mavs win the title... Continued her form into the NCAA Tournament scoring the Mavs' lone goals in wins over Texas Woman's and the Colorado School of Mines as CMU advanced to the Round of 16 of the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 25 years.

2022: Second Team All-RMAC... RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll... Played in all 19 games, making eight starts... Tied for second on the team with six goals and tied for third with 14 points... Recorded two assists, both against New Mexico Highlands on Oct. 23, a game in which she also had a goal... Scored five of six goals in RMAC play... Season-high 61 minutes against Fort Lewis (Oct. 7)... 807 total minutes... Tied for second with 29 shots, 12 shots on goal.

2021 (Fall): RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll...Played in 17 games and made three starts...Recorded first collegiate goal against Texas Permian Basin (Sept. 3)...Took three shots against Northwest Nazarene (Sept. 9)

2021 (Spring): Appeared in five games...Took two shots on goal...Logged a season high 38 minutes against Black Hills State (Mar. 28)

Prep: Played for the Grizzlies of Northridge High School and coach Thomas Beck...Three-time All-Conference selection.

Club: Played for Fort Collins Arsenal and coach Dave Schaffer.

Personal: Parents are Scott and Tracey Randel...Has one sibling Abiah...Chose CMU for the campus and soccer program...Enjoys writing poetry, reading and being outside with friends and family.
