Before CMU: Re-unites with Maverick Director of Cross Country/Track & Field Travis Floeck after running for him and the Vandals at the University of Idaho… Qualified for the Division I Outdoor Track & Field regional meet in 2022 after winning the Big Sky Conference 3K Steeplechase title… Went on to claim the bronze at the Big Sky Cross Country Championships that fall.
2024 @ Idaho: Ran in three meets, placing fifth at the LC State Invite to highlight the season… Finished 80
th at the NCAA West Regional Meet.
2023 @ Idaho: Redshirt season.
2022 @ Idaho: Ran in four meets, recording a win at the LC State Invite with a 5K XC PR of 16:35… Went on to claim the bronze medal at the Big Sky Conference Championships (16:37.4) before setting a 6K PR time of 20:16.9 to finish 50
th at the NCAA West Regional Championships.
2021 @ Idaho: Had two top-10 finishes during the regular season, placing second in the Clash of the Inland Northwest with a 4K PR time of 14:21.3 and eighth at the Inland Empire Championships before going on to a 57
th place finish at the Big Sky Championships.
2020-21 @ Idaho: Recorded a pair of top-10 finishes in October and February meets before taking 36
th at the Big Sky Winter XC Championships during the COVID-modified 2020-21 cross country season.
Prep: 2020 graduate of Southridge School… Finished third at the 2019 Canadian Cross Country Championships… Was third (2017) and fourth (2018) in the steeplechase at the Canadian Youth Track & Field Championships… Won the South Fraser Regional Cross Country titles in both 2018 and 2019 before taking second (2019) and third (2018) at the British Columbia provincial championships… Recorded a 2017 win and three straight top 3 finishes in the steeplechase at the British Columbia High School Championships… Also recorded two third place finishes (2017, 2018) in the 3K at that meet.
Personal: Is majoring in business… Plans to go on to attend physical therapy school after her time at CMU.
Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU to continue training under Coach Travis (Floeck) and compete in the NCAA for one final year. I also loved the team culture and the scenery in Grand Junction.”
