As a Redshirt Junior (2024): 2024: Ran in three meets, including the RMAC Championships… Finished 61
st at the conference meet with a career-best 6K time of 22:36.2… Was the team’s eighth finisher… Took 42
nd as the team’s fifth finisher at the Roadrunners Invitational… Finished 115
th as the team’s sixth finisher at the Lewis Crossover.
As a Redshirt Sophomore (2023): Ran in four meets, including both the RMAC and NCAA Division II South Central Regionals as the Mavs turned in their best championship finishes in seven years… Was the Mavs’ third finisher at the regional with a 6K career best time of 22:55.0… Placed 67
th overall… Had placed 61
st as the Mavs’ No. 4 runner at the RMAC Championships with a time of 23:50.4… Led the Mavs with a 13
th place finish at the Gig Leadbetter Maverick Stampede, posting her lone 5K time of 20:55.3… Finished 184
th at the Lewis Crossover.
As a Redshirt Freshman (2022): Finished 17
th with a 5K time of 19:36.9 at the Gig Leadbetter Maverick Stampede, her lone meet of the season.
As a Freshman (2021): Redshirt season... Competed unattached in three early-season meets... Finished 32nd at the UCCS Rust Buster and 23rd at the Mountaineer/Cowboy Invite before placing 16th at the Gig Leadbetter Maverick Stampede... Had a season-best 5K time of 19:51.3 at the UCCS Rust Buster.
Prep: 2021 graduate of Cherokee Trail High School… 3-year letterwinner for the Joshua Tate coached Cougars… Was named as the team’s most improved runner in 2019… Also earned honorable mention academic all-state honors that year… Had a XC PR of 19:02 as a senior in the fall of 2020 after placing 55
th in that year’s state meet… Went on to place 71
st at the AAU National Championships… Set a 1600m track PR of 5:32.50 in the spring of 2021 after posting other PRs of 2:26.17 (800) and 11:50.94 (3200) in 2019.
Personal: Is majoring in nursing… Daughter of Steve and Meredith Hodges… Has two sisters— Megan and Taylor… Her twin Megan is also a member of the CMU squad… Plans to go back to school to become a nurse practitioner and wants to work at a children’s hospital… Enjoys spending free time with her sisters and friends… Her family has a lot of family gatherings and plays yard games.
Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because of the running program, the nursing program and the location of the school.
