2022 (Freshman):
Redshirt season.

Prep: 2022 graduate of Auburn Riverside High School… Coached by Sandy Halford… Was on the Ravens’ varsity squad for all four years… Named as the track team’s captain and most improved as a senior in 2022… Set track PRs of 2:28 (800) and 5:36 (1600) during the season, placing second in both at the NPSL meet… Qualified for districts in both before helping the Ravens qualify for the state championships in the 4x400-meter relay… Set a XC PR of 21:20 at the district cross country championships to qualify for state after placing fifth in the league meet.

Personal: Is majoring in psychology with a minor in forensic investigation… Aspires to go into forensic psychology… Daughter of Chris and Jenny Heck… Has an older brother (Adam) and younger sister (Clara)… Adam runs track (hurdles) at MSU Billings… Enjoys running, hiking, reading and making art.

Why I Chose CMU: “When I went to visit it seemed as though it had everything I was looking for in a college. The campus is beautiful, they have a good program for the major I want, and the Cross Country/Track team are such kind and fun people!”
