As a Redshirt Sophomore (2025): Was one of the Mavs’ top three runners in all six meets of the season, including the RMAC, South Central Regional and NCAA Championships… Earned Second Team All-RMAC honors with 28
th place finish at the RMAC Championships… Posted a career-best 6K time of 21:58 to do so… Was also the team’s second runner at the regional meet, finishing 47
th overall to help the Mavs claim their best regional finish (7
th) in 11 years, which was good enough to qualify the Mavs for the national meet for the second straight year… Went on to finish 113
th overall as the team’s No. 3 runner at the national meet in Kenosha, Wisconsin as the Mavs placed a program-best 20
th as a team… Had two top-20 finishes in early season meets as the team’s No. 3 runner before moving up to the No. 2 spot on the team at the Lewis Crossover… Finished 42
nd in that meet to help the Mavs place fourth as a team… Was selected to the First Team Academic All-RMAC team.
As a Redshirt Freshman (2024): RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll selection… Ran for the Mavs in the first two meets of the season… Placed 15
th as the team’s fourth finisher at the Mountaineer/Cowboy Open with a 5K time of 20:34.0… Finished 97
th at the Roadrunners Invitational with a 6K time of 25:05.4.
As a Freshman (2023): Redshirt season… Ran unattached at two early season meets… Placed 38
th at the Mountaineer Invite (21:58.4) before going nearly a minute faster (21:02.5) over five kilometers to place 15
th at the Gig Leadbetter Maverick Stampede.
Prep: 2023 graduate of Highlands Ranch High School where she ran for the Falcons and coaches Jeff Bliven and Meg Chase… Was a 4-year varsity runner and 4-year scholar-athlete… Served as the team captain during her senior year, winning the Falcon Award… Set a 5K XC PR of 20:46.6 as a senior at the Liberty Bell Invitational… Went on to place 46
th at the Continental League Championships and 65
th at the 5A Region 2 meet… Set an 800-meter track PR of 2:25.06 at the Continental League Championships to finish eighth.
Personal: Is majoring in exercise science… Hopes to go into a physical therapy… Daughter of Jerry and Kristi Staniszewski… Has a younger sister named Natalie… Enjoys running, skiing, hiking, biking and painting.
