2020 (Redshirt Freshman): Competed unattached at the Maverick Invitational... Finished 31st with a 5K time of 19:43.56.

Before CMU: Redshirted at UCCS during the 2018-19 academic year before enrolling at CMU in the spring of 2020... Competed unattached at the UCCS Rust Buster XC Jamboree on Sept. 1, 2018, posting a 5K time of 20:24.70 to finish 32nd.

Prep: 2018 graduate of Central High School… Two-year team captain… Two-year First Team Academic All-State and 2-time all-conference performer… Won four regular season meets during her 2017 senior cross country season... Took third at the 5A Region 2 Championships before finishing 59th at the 5A State Championships... Would go on to finish 18th at the Nike Cross Southwest Regional... Had finished 64th at that meet in 2016 after taking 27th at the Colorado 5A Region 2 meet... Set track PRs of 2:37.24 (800), 5:36.54 (1600) and 11:57.24 (3200) during her 2018 senior campaign… Finished second in the 3200 and third in the 1600 at the Southwestern League Championships… Placed third in both events as a junior in 2017… Was School’s Athlete of the Month three times… Was named as Spanish Student of the Year and received a seal of bi-literacy… Was also the Kiwanis Student of the Month… Received EMR certification.

Personal: Is majoring in nursing… Wants to work as an emergency room nurse while going to school for a master’s degree… Then wants to move to Mexico to open her own clinic…. Daughter of Maria and Mauro De Luna… Siblings are Ivy and Ivan... Loves music, art, being active and shopping.
