Beach Career: Finisher her career with 46 victories (46-24), tied for second most in program history with VanDeList… Was just two off the record of 48, set by 5-year Maverick standout Holly Schmidt.

2023 (Redshirt Senior): Posted a 23-8 record, including a team-best 19-7 record in team duals alongside partner Sabrina VanDeList… Their 23 wins are tied for second most in a single-season in program history, just one shy of the record that teammates Hahni Johnson and Savannah Spitzer recorded in 2023… All of their duals came in the No. 4 spot… They also went 4-1 in tournament play, reaching the semifinals of the CMU vs. Texas A&M-Kingsville Pairs Challenge… Were on a 6-match winning streak before dropping that decision… Later went 4-1 with one other match unfinished during the AVCA Small College Championships, helping the Mavs to a runner-up finish.

2022 (Redshirt Junior): 2022: Co-set a CMU record for official single season wins (16) with main partner Sabrina VanDeList and two others (Macie Lachemann/Holly Schmidt)… Was named alongside VanDeList as the AVCA/College Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week on Apr. 18 after the duo went 6-0 during the AVCA Small College Beach Championships while leading the Mavs to the NCAA Division II title… Went on to earn a AVCA Top Flight Award with Wedhorn after winning at least 75 percent of their matches at a specific flight… Posted an official 16-5 record… Also split two exhibition matches with VanDeList at the start of the season before the pair moved to the No. 5 spot of the CMU lineup, resulting in a 17-6 on-court record… The duo won eight of their last ten matches and claimed six wins over Division I teams throughout the campaign.

2021 (Redshirt Sophomore): Posted a co-team-high seven wins while playing with partner Are Norwood in three different spots of the lineup... The duo was an even .500 at both the No. 3 (3-3) and No. 4 (4-4) positions... They were 0-3 at No. 3 and lost a Cactus Classic Pairs Challenge match while finishing 7-11... Helped Norwood become CMU's winningest player in beach volleyball history on Apr. 2 when they posted a 3-set win over a pair from Missouri State... The duo swept both of their matches against Utah on Mar. 6 to help the Mavericks claim their first two wins over Pac-12 opposition... Those wins were the first of a 3-match winning streak... They also had a Apr. 3 win over UC-Davis and later went 2-2 at the AVCA Small College Championships... Had transferred to CMU in the fall of 2020 after spending two years at Fort Lewis College in Durango, where she played indoor volleyball.

2019 Indoor (At Fort Lewis): Played in 25 of the Skyhawks’ 27 matches, starting 22 as a middle blocker... Recorded 144 kills and 190 ½ total points in 85 sets, good for 1.69 kill and 2.24 points per set averages… Led the Skyhawks with 78 blocks, a 0.94 per set average… Had a .190 attack percentage… Had a pair of 11-kill efforts, including one against Adams State (Oct. 15), when she hit a season-best .375… Registered a career-high nine blocks on Oct. 18 against Colorado Christian… Had six kills and five blocks in a Nov. 1 match against CMU… Was a 2019 RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll selection.

2018 Indoor (At Fort Lewis): Earned Second Team All-RMAC honors… Played in 68 sets and 23 matches, making starts in 19 of them… Led the Skyhawks with 62 blocks, good for a 0.91 per set average… Also led the team with her .356 attack percentage to rank fifth in the conference… Was third on the squad with 160 kills and 196 total points… Ranked third on the team in both of those categories… Averaged 2.88 points and 2.35 kills per set… Finished in double figures for kills an impressive eight times… Recorded a career-high 15 in a 5-set win against CMU on Oct. 22… Also had a career-high 11 blocks in that match to record her only career double-double en-route to RMAC Defensive Player of the Week honors.

Prep: 2018 graduate of Glenwood Springs HS… Was named as the Western Slope League Player of the Year in the fall of 2017… Was coached by former Maverick assistant beach volleyball coach Kehau Rust… Was a 3-year starter and 2-year team captain… Named to the principal’s honor roll three times and was a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Is majoring in accounting and aspires to become a CPA… Daughter of Julie and Randy Wedhorn… Has a brother Jake.

Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because the campus is like home to me! I love being back close to my hometown.”
