2024 (Senior): Went 22-11 to finish third on the team in wins… Finished her career as the school-record holder with 68 wins… Originally broke the record on Feb. 27 before holding off fellow senior Hahni Johnson to have the record by one… Began the season playing at at No. 4 and 5 with team newcomer Cedar Bellows… Went 4-5 with her, including the original record-setting win over Ottawa (Ariz.), ranked first in the NAIA at the time… Switched to playing with Savannah Spitzer, going 18-6 with her… Finished the year with a 19-10 dual meet record, including a 12-3 mark at No 5… Was 7-3 in No. 3 starts and 0-4 at No. 4… Went 3-1 and reached the final of the CMU vs. Trinidad State Pairs Tournament… Went 5-0 with Spitzer at the AVCA Small College Championships, a big part of the Mavs’ third place team effort… Racked up more academic honors, claiming a second straight First Team College Sports Communicators Academic All-America honor for Women’s At-Large Sports… Became the first Maverick student-athlete to ever win five Academic All-America plaudits, having already recording three for indoor volleyball… Earned a spot on the national ballot after being named to the Academic All-District mark.
Beach Career: Will enter her final collegiate beach season with 46 career wins, tied for second most in program history alongside of her partner of two years Tye Wedhorn… Is just two shy of the program-record of 48, set by now graduated Holly Schmidt.
2023 (Junior): Posted a 23-8 record, including a team-best 19-7 record in team duals alongside partner Tye Wedhorn… Their 23 wins are tied for second most in a single-season in program history, just one shy of the record that teammates Hahni Johnson and Savannah Spitzer recorded in 2023… All of their duals came in the No. 4 spot… They also went 4-1 in tournament play, reaching the semifinals of the CMU vs. Texas A&M-Kingsville Pairs Challenge… Were on a 6-match winning streak before dropping that decision… Later went 4-1 with one other match unfinished during the AVCA Small College Championships, helping the Mavs to a runner-up finish… Became the program’s first College Sports Communicators Academic All-American alongside fellow pick Macie Lachemann… Was a first team selection for women’s at-large sports… Also earned Academic All-District team honors.
2022 (Sophomore): Co-set a CMU record for official single season wins (16) with main partner Tye Wedhorn and two others (Macie Lachemann/Holly Schmidt)… Was named alongside Wedhorn as the AVCA/College Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week on Apr. 18 after the duo went 6-0 during the AVCA Small College Beach Championships while leading the Mavs to the NCAA Division II title… Went on to earn a AVCA Top Flight Award with Wedhorn after winning at least 75 percent of their matches at a specific flight… Posted an official 16-6 record, including a 16-5 mark with Wedhorn throughout the season… Also played one match with Savannah Ott… Also split two exhibition matches with Wedhorn at the start of the season before the pair moved to the No. 5 spot of the CMU lineup, resulting in a 17-7 on-court record… The duo won eight of their last ten matches and claimed six wins over Division I teams throughout the campaign.
2021 (Freshman): Co-led the team with seven wins after going 7-12 overall... Posted a 7-8 record with partner Ashton Reese after playing on the opening weekend of the season with Maddi Foutz... Went 3-6 with Reese at the No. 4 position after beginning the partnership with her with a 4-2 record at the No. 5 spot... They went 3-0 and 4-1 to begin the year before claiming three wins in five matches at the AVCA Small College Championships to lead the Maverick effort... Played with Foutz in the No. 4 position at the season-opening Cactus Classic.
Prep: Earned first team all-conference honors as both a junior (2018) and senior (2019) for the Jared Rudiger coached Fort Collins HS Lambkins... Was an honorable mention all-conference pick as a freshman and sophomore… Helped lead the team to a third place finish at state in 2019 after taking fifth in 2018… Was a CCGS All-State pick in 2019… Finished with more than 2,000 assists in her high school career… Was a 4-year letterwinner… Earned two academic all-state honors… Was the MVP of the Dakota Ridge Tournament as a freshman.
Club: Plays for Coach Erin Hausserman and Norco Volleyball Black… Has played for the club for seven years and has qualified for nationals each year since 12s.
Personal: Daughter of Mark and Malou VanDeList… Has two siblings (Eva, Jack)… Loves to mountain bike, ski, hangout with friends and travel.
