2025 (Redshirt Junior): Went 7-7 on Court 5 with partners Lucy Kaufman and Sofia Kolbe… Also played with Kolbe and Ava Blanco in other exhibition matches.

2024 (Junior): Redshirt season.

2023 (Sophomore): Went 6-5 in pairs tournament and exhibition matches… Played mostly with Lizzy Hood, going 4-5 with her… Also played with Rianne Brown in two matches, going 2-0.

2022 (Freshman): Went 3-1 throughout the season, including a 1-0 mark in the official team lineup… Paired with Taylor Scherff for a No. 3 win over Trinidad State on Mar. 1… Also went 2-1 in exhibition matches with partners Rianne Brown and Paige Gwaltney… Also had another split-set match with Brown that did not have a final outcome.

Prep: 2x (2019, 2020) All-Inland Empire League indoor player for the Moscow HS Bears and Coach Toni Claus… 4x Recipient of the Idaho High School Activities Association Outstanding Individual Scholastic Award… Received school's hard hitter award in 2018 and 2019.

Club: Plays for the A^2 Beach squad… Also plays indoor for Cats of Spokane, Washington… Coached by Allen Allen… Finished first at the ERVA Regional Indoor Championship in 2019 and at the USAV Junior Beach Qualifier in 2017… Helped found the ZZU Beach club in 2015.

Personal: Plans to major in music with elective studies in business… Aspires to become a music producer and continue writing and performing her own music… Daughter of Dawn & John Burns… Has four older siblings— Amanda, Alisa, Olivia and Abi … Enjoys writing and performing music, playing guitar, watching movies and competing in music competitions… Has been arranging and releasing original music on streaming sites such as Spotify and Apple Music… Also loves playing with her two corgis (dog breed)— Charlee and Teddy.

Why I Chose CMU: "I was so excited to find a school with a strong music program and beach volleyball team that allows me to pursue both of my passions. Grand Junction, the campus and the friendly people made feel at home when I visited. I knew I loved it the moment I got off the plane."
